  • I love it!

  • Steinberg created this sketch on the Second City stage and adapted it for TV.

  • Did this series ever air in the U.S?

  • @redheadedgolem Yes it did. It was called a "Summer Replacement Show" He had 2 musicians on one episode. They had never sang together before. One I loved the other musician I didn't. After they sang a song together David said, " this could be the beginning of something..." I thought "NO WAY" It was James Taylor singing "You Can Close Your Eyes" with Carly Simon.

  • I always enjoyed this show - so funny! This was my favorite scit!

  • Are there more of these? My sister and I remember these, but we both distinctly recall that one of his things about sitting in the wrong chair was "bed wetter!"

  • I KNEW I WASN'T DREAMING!! THIS WAS A REAL SKIT I remember as a kid in the 70s! Thank you!!

  • Are there any more clips from the David Steinberg show?

  • How long did they have to rehearse this skit to get it this good?

  • MD. Me Doctor.

  • Martin Short does an amazing impression.

  • GET OFF!

  • OMG thank you for posting this!! David was one of my favorites when In was growing up!

  • Thank you so much for posting this truly classic skit! Great to see it again!
