  • @dobrev1dqd Indeed it will be my friend.

  • I'm so gonna be mrs Shore.

  • @mewtoo007 it's not Gimili. incorrect spelling.

  • ....and my axe!--Gimili the dwarf

  • a....m.....a.....z....i....n...g

  • I WILL COME, BUT I AM AFRAID

  • 3:59 to 4:40 is the best part in my opinion. It is was i hear when i think of the trilogy. I get the chills every time!!!

  • Lord of the Rings Soundtracks are probably the best pieces of music written ever, in the fact they are emotionally driving, and just...EPIC

  • Also, 2:11 has to be my favourite bit!

  • UNNNFFFF take me to Middle-earth.

  • 1:46 Oh my god

  • A mente humana é algo inexplicável mesmo, como isso pode sair de um único ser humano?Fico imaginando quando ele terminou de compor,e ouviu pela primeira vez a orquestra tocar a sua musica, deve ser uma sensação indescritível.Linda música!

  • some new epic music coming soon with Bilbo the Hobbit an unexpected journey. Can't wait!!!!!!!

  • One video to rule them all

    One video to find them

One video to bring them all,and in the darkness bind them

In the land of Youtube where the Trolls lie

  • I set this video as my homepage.

  • Tolkien.... It's just like how Ring poseses men the Tolkien's stuff poseses me.

  • this song is really beautiful

  • WE RIDE FOR GONDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR

  • I get goose bumps just by seeing the words Howard Shore and Lord of the Rings together. Thank you so much for this music. It's really the translation of Tolkien's words into music. I can never thank you enough.

  • Listening to this while playing lotro! So wonderful :D

  • Look at pictures from Shropshire while watching if you want the tears to come!

  • anyone else get super goose bumps listening to this?

    such an amazing song

  • I want to see high mountains and beautiful little woods. We don't have that kind of Middle-earth-landscape views, Maybe I should travel to New Zealand...

  • 4:00 to 4:40 is the peak of this mountain that we call a song

  • This song is a mind. ear and soul-gasm.. Silmoltaniously.

  • the most beautiful music ever

i feel peace and joy when i heard

  • Mean while up in Heaven, at the Table of Legends

JRRT- Wow, people really love this series huh?

God scratches his head and raises his eyebrows.

God- Yea, I suppose they do... Tell you what we'll let these fools kill each other off and then you can have it your way.

    JRRT- You mean...

God- Of course, My son agrees too; no one better. You are the next creator!

  • 2:13 - 2:42 Peak intensity! It's so beautiful!!

  • Since I have been a huge Nightwish fan for all my youth they've guided me to fall in love with movie music (for example "Ghost Love Score" is more like a film music than metal :D) ... Howard Shore is truly a genious, even greater composer that Hans Zimmer. LOTR wouln't have been such a success without all this amazing music.

  • If only the world would stop the madness that's suffacating it. Whatever happened to "love one another as you want to be loved", or just the feeling of Happiness? This song reminds me of a time when I was a child, and the world was not as it is today. Maybe, just maybe, the world can turn its tide, but that hope has been gradually fading with every day.

    GOD help us all......

  • @MrNinjaAlchemist Thank you :)

  • Life really sucks.....i wanna live in The Shire .....maybe go on an adventure or two....

  • It's a dangerous business, Guys, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.””

  • @XxIllumInatIxX1 - bilbo baggins

  • I live in the southern alps of New Zealand AKA.. middle earth and I recon this should be the theme sone of my life.

  • I want to be in Middle Earth...sometimes, life can really suck. I can only imagine how heaven will be when I finally get there and see my Lord.

  • i wonder what was in J.R.R Tolkien's mind while writing these legendary books... it just makes me feel the want to escape our own world here and just head to middle earth.

  • OK. I am simply 18 years old. But I grew up reading the LOTR books instead of children's stories, thanks to my brothers. And I am damn proud I did. It made me realise there's more to people than meets the eye; much much more, in fact. That every single one of us has the power to make a difference; that evil CAN be defeated if we persevere. That true friendship stays alive through the ages, no matter the distance. I thank Mr. Tolkien for teaching me never to give up. Especially on my dreams...

  • 600 likes!!! ^ ^

  • This song is absolutely amazing..the whole soundtrack is unique and touching at the same time.Lotr is definitely the greatest movie out there..The whole world that Tolkien created is outstanding. It's a world where some of us would love to live.

This song not only gives me courage but it makes me realise something..That each and every single day is an adventure and no matter how hard things can get..the most important thing is to fight for your dreams!

  • @Tehyawn1 Very nice written.

  • @Swordchan Thank you :) I just wrote what I trully feel about it

  • This is brilliant! the music with combination of this video.great!

  • LOTR is not one of the best movies ever, IT IS THE BEST MOVE EVER! Certainly! :)

  • Just recently I climbed mount Kilimanjaro. Summit night was not only physically, but mentally, the hardest task I have ever undertaken. Long into the night, our bodies battered and our confidence shattered, I saw a beautiful sight - the sun rise. At that moment, the glaciers appeared, and I looked out onto Africa. Immediately, I listened to this on my iPod, and as I slowly made my way along the narrow path to the summit, I wept the entire way. It was this piece that gave me the courage I needed.

  • @jkeely123 Wimp *trollface*

  • @jkeely123 your words with this masterpiece make my eyes water.

  • @jkeely123 Cool story, bro. And I'm being dead sincere when I say that.

  • l'inizio è magnifico 0:1

  • Got to say, i think that the last pic was a bit off :/ it was like heroic sheep :L

  • Good is the opposite of Bad, so in form they are equals but and easily mistaken for each other.

  • J. R. R. Tolkien would be proud.

  • amazing soundtrack to......yes I'm going to say it............THE BEST TRILOGY OF OUR TIME. Seriously, what trilogy is better than LOTR?

  • very beautiful track

  • Thank God Howard Shore is returning to score the Hobbit.

And thanks to J.R.R. Tolkien for his vast imagination and understanding of the world.

  • le meilleur compositeur au monde Howard Shore avec la meilleur trilogie du monde <3 il m'arrive souvent voir tous le temps de pleurer en regardant la trilogie du seigneur des anneaux ou même en écoutant ces musiques.

  • the perfect song to protect your friends from torment and death to!

  • this song makes me want to smoke a long pipe

  • @hamawowfan16 full of weed from the shire!

  • This sounds a bit different to what I've heard before. I suppose this is just "The Fellowship" Rather than the Breaking of it, but it does sound incredible.

  • this song is credited also to Nic Raine.... such a masterpiece. I always get tears in my eyes when listening to this.

  • I love it at around 3:57 when Aragorn says: "Lets hunt some Orc". It makes me want to just go and run through the fields of Middle Earth.

  • i want to here this when the breath of life of the Elda is leaving me...

    ...

    FOR FRODO!!!!!!!!

  • Well I studied music for a long time and I've never heard any better piece of music. Howard Shore is even better than Bethoven, Mozart, Bach and Schumann.

  • @antifafubel He is standing on giants.

  • @antifafubel then clearly you have not studied the works of those composers in the depth needed to appreciate their mastery and genius.

  • ooown this is perfect.........

  • sorry but the pictures doesn't match...

    desert, fog, forest, lanscapes?

but the soundtrack is my all time fave

  • The guys that disliked this are probably orcs. I will never dislike anything related to The Lord Of The Rings; I rather die! :)

  • @MoovySoundtrax

thanks for the information in the info bar. i couldnt figure out which film it was in or what it was called, but you provided me with that information. so for that i thank you x

  • 3 people are star wars fa*s

  • @Arnest123 pretty sure plenty of people like both Star Wars and Lord of the Rings...

  • Tolkien is and will always be the master of words....

  • Men. Women. Children. Heed my words... There is only one life you are given... Live it. Live it out for eons to come. In the hearts of your sons and daughters as the one who gave them the pride to live how they decide. Bring them the earth with which they may reap their crops. Give them the water with which they may never thirst. And bestow upon them the knowlage to know right from wrong. Forever you shall live. As a true legend. As a true god.

  • This song reminds me of the innocence I had as a child, of playing tag in the back yard, of climbing trees, of running barefoot through the small bit of world that concerned me. I cry as I write this, and listen. It reminds me of a memory I will never get back, as I step out into the world and hope my feet will lead me where I need to go.

Sometimes it's our job to climb into the boat and continue our adventures alone. And sometimes it's our job to follow our friends, no matter the cost...

  • @MrTestMusic that last bit of your comment (the last two lines) sounds like something Gandalf would say. you should be proud if you came up with that.

  • @MrTestMusic Well said, but you know friend, as you get older, I think you will find that those memories strengthen us in times of need. No, they do not leave us, they carry us on our way. This world is filled with them, and you still have many, many more to make. Happy adventures!:)

  • @LTG22 :') That's beautiful man. Thanks.

  • @MrTestMusic Its been quite a while since ive read something so nice... there is actually a lump in my troath as im writing this reply.

Im saying this with all my heart: Thank you for making my day.

  • @MrTestMusic -So true. "The road goes ever on and on, down from the door where it began..."

  • @MrTestMusic That made me think about my life an break down..

  • @MrTestMusic You sir have taken a tear from my eye. Your comment was more than I ever needed to imagine a past memory of mine.

  • @MrTestMusic - The reminder of all that is lost, gone for ever, vanished into the mists of time. Howard Shore, thank you.

  • This is music BIATCHzz /watch?v=iIFzTV4WsxM ;D AAAAR !

  • @BrokkoliSchleuder How dare you disgrace a masterpiece like Tolkien's work - LOTR?

Pathetic highlander! you'r "music" is a disgrace.. Find another video to post your infamous and incompetent "music" .. !

  • RIP Gandalf the grey

  • 2 mindless fools didn't like this video...

  • @Leofox94 YEP! i bet it was Saruman and Sauron the disliked this!

  • @comeondown12345 Yeah, probably, or just some very unintelligent and mindless person.

  • Its too bad that they haven't yet made a Kindle that will play this soundtrack at the appropriate parts of the book as you read. But seeing as the book is so much better than the movie, and the soundtrack is so much better than any soundtrack, the world would probably implode into a black hole. Lets hope that Steve is right and we will be transported back (or forward) to middle earth.

  • so they say they are my friends, my fellowship. kinda joke, they are worth of a shit, not a trust. now you see what am I saying. that kind of palls are most impressive for you. nits and voltures. no honor, no brotherhood, just profits. so eat caviar, drive cadillacs, all will be turned in shit or dust. those are my last words.

  • This song is what home sounds like.

  • beautiful piece

  • this have sense.... the best soundtrack ever... match perfectly with the best movie ever

  • No Trilogy ever, will rival this, movies, books, music, cast. All of it.

  • Why is the world so boring. You know what, i'm going to find middle earth and live there with frodo, sam, mary, and pippin. Every once in a while i will go visit Rivendell and mirkwood. Oh and i will have slumber parties with legolas, gandolf and arogorn. Who's with me?!?!

  • @Dreamer25Yup

    Hell yeah!

    Pass the joint man!

  • Every single time I hear this song I cry. They're happy tears though so it's okay.

  • looks like we have got 417 hobbits in our town ;)

  • this is what I wake up/ fall asleep/ eat/ study/ live to.

  • Makes me cry. So amazing and beautifull. I wish I live there. <3

  • I want that picture on 1:24 thats my favorite if any1 can find it plz send me a message ;D

  • My itunes says I've played this song 19 times

but the breaking of the Fellowship is better.

  • My itunes says I've played this song 19 times

  • He didn't say a story created from nothing he said a world created from nothing. And the world was created in his imagination and his mind.

  • @dady1143 not to like burst your bubble but it was not created from nothing it has many symbols and hints of the war which j r r tolkein was in also his expierence from his past history but this is a wonderful piece of work

  • My Favourite Book, my favourite moovie and my favourite songs!

Love Tolkien, Love Peter Jackson, and lova Howard Shore :D

  • Why did it heav to end,I whis the music wold go on fore eaver.

  • everytime i close my eyes before sleeping i hear this.....i hope they keep this kind of music in the hobbit. so not it will be never as good as lotr.....

  • This song makes me sad infact all of Howard Shores LOTR songs make me sad... i want to read the books so bad but with school and friends i don't think id have the time.

  • I really love this song this is so beautiful, it makes me feel good.

The pictures are also very nice.

  • Hearing this makes me wish i could leave this dump of a world and just live in middle earth. smoking with gandalf and drinking ales with frodo and sam and fighting for the land you love. That is the world i want to live in. sigh..:(

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod You mirrored my sentiments exactly. To live in Middle Earth and to have passion and adventure and love for all living things (except the orks! and those from Minas Morgul and other such places full of enemies). The true love of being alive and like you said fighting for your land and the integrity and principles for which it stands and those you love. Courage, Strength, Valour, Love, Fight till the Death no matter the cost to protect what matters to you. Love this trilogy

  • @sabersgrrl

yeah i agree with all of that, thanks for the reply

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod Well i think i have the same wish. Living in Shire, Exploring the lands from bree to Rivendale. Then i would travel to Minas Tirith in order to put some Flowers at Boromir's tomb beacuse he was truly a great man who loved his brother and most of all, Gondor.

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod You only live in the world you choose to live in, if you live in the city, wheres your fuckin imagination? just imagin where you WANT to be and make it happen, you want to live in the grasslands of the shire, go out to the prairies and start a city of your own

  • @hawtwassabe what are you talking about? i dont even live in the city.

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod Did i say you live in the city? i was using it as an example

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod @VakhoJaparidze Likewise. Well, at least if it also includes refrigeration, modern medicine, indoor plumbing, and broadband connection. :)

There's some great places left in this world though. Nobody's forcing us to live in large cities or suburbs.

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod just move to new zealand, thats where they filmed all of the landscape scenes

  • @MyJr29 I dont think he/she means only the "place" where it was filmed......... it's the feeling of fightin for whats right, friendship, honor and be a GOOD man. All of the things people forget everyday, and are so hard to find in "our world". :)

  • @tere538 i know what he meant, i was just trying to make a joke cuz i was bored out of my mind and looking at random stuff.

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod i know exactly what you mean..

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod

"So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us." (Gandalf, Fellowship of the Ring)

We live in a beautiful world my friend. Have humans acted like a destructive virus on this planet? Yes. Does this mean that there remains no inspiration to pull from the utter magnificence of the natural life residing on this "Pale Blue Dot"? No. Enjoy the present brother.

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod J.R.R. Tolkien the Creator of Middle-Earth RIP

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod By far the best comment ive seen on youtube. :) couldnt have said it better myself!

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod you can still smoke a pipe in this world! That's what I do. lol

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod Oh ! ya me too ... wanna live there :'(

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod Move to New Zealand dude and live out in the country, and dont watch TV :L I'd come with you :L

  • @lemanrusstank that would be sick

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod and dying because of the orcs...

okay sorry i ruined your dream

i want to live that dream too ;$

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod ...there's some good in this world... and it's worth fighting for.

  • @DukeNukemPlaysCod

this reminds me of the good time i had with my freinds before i moved it brings back sad memories but also the good ones its stuff like this that inspires people

i hope u guys like and u think of those ols memories

  • 4:38 Ansel Adams

  • why is howard shore not as famous as john williams and hans zimmer?

  • @dragongame2 Dont know man i just dont know and I dont get it this is clearly the most heart moving piece of both the 20th and 21st century

  • Howard Shore is right up there in my list just under Tolkien... without this music.. Lord or the Rings wouldn't be the same...

  • I never knew a thing about this story until this trilogy came out and it is the best ever. I recently started to show these movies to my 5 year old daughter and they quickly became her favorite. Can't wait for The Hobbit.

  • Lotr will remain the Best Story to Be written. Always hoping jrr Comes back to life to write part 4 and onwards Til eternity :)

  • i love how this song captures all the memorable themes in LOTR

  • LOTR is not only one of the best movies E-V-E-R, but also one of the movies with the BEST SOUNDTRACK of all time! :D Long live Peter Jackson & Howard Shore!

  • @tere538 LONG LIVE J.R.R. TOLKIEN too, most of all, of course. Without him, none of these would have been possible. :)

  • @delvikt No doubt bout that!!! :)

  • @tere538 Not forgetting the man who, without him, we wouldn't of been able to have any of this! TOLKIEN FTW!

  • @tere538 Not forgetting the man who, without him, we wouldn't of been able to have any of this! TOLKIEN FTW!

  • @tere538 Don't forget Tolkien wrote it... :)
