  • God I love this chorus.

  • The ending gives me the mental image of a rebel champion and a wicked tyrant fighting the final battle atop a castle overlooking a steep cliff. The when the choir comes in, the tyrant gets knocked back into the chasm as he is struck. At the final organ blast we pan up to see the resolute face of the hero.

  • 1:34...BEYOND AMAZING!!!!

  • Where can I download this song? Please PM me if you can help, thanks!

  • "Burn it."

  • Does anyone know what language the choir is singing in? If it's in Latin I wonder how Alan Menken knew how to write words in Latin.

  • @danitiwa It is Latin. The choir's lyrics are fragments from the Requiem (mostly from Dies Irae, Kyrie Eleison and Agnus Dei). Alan Menken didn't write the lyrics, he just made a new version of the Requiem :)
