@chamblizi thats really easy, craw under, undo your starter, undo the cooler lines, undo the speedo cable, then your flywheel/flex plate, pull drive shaft out, put a jack under the trans with a block of wood, then undo all your bellhouseing bolts, then u may need to use a small pry bar to get it to come off the engine. then lower the trans on the jack and slide it out from underneith your truck. (assuming its automatic) (standard is a bit different but not difficult) hope that helps you
@camaroking250 i actually fixed it was nothing wrong with it except it cant take being on the full line any more i put it about 1/4 below full within the perimeters and it works fine also the dumb asses before me that owned it put a 20 amp fuse in for the overdrive and signal lights in insted of the OEM 15 Amp fuse that's why my transmission had some of the lag problems when it decides not to shift in second and or third gear every now and then i can hit the over drive button and shifts over
Never forget to install the flux capacitor LOL. This is good. I think some people believe changing out a transmission is like replacing flashlight batteries, and they don't understand why it's so expensive. Definitely not for the feint-of-heart.
Thanks for an interesting video. My 96 Camry has recently developed a rear seal leak and the Haynes manual is unclear about pulling tranny without removing engine. However, I see in your video that you unbolt engine and raise it in order gain clearance. I would like to know what to expect beforehand so I can plan my repair. I have a hoist and tools for this, but have no experience with half shaft removal, and one side or both need replacing during this procedure. Can you elaborate? Thanks
hey my transmissions farther back in my pickup do you think it will be easy to remove its a ford f250 1989 2wd
