  • stp @ 1.24

  • But is he really playing bass?

  • ....I find your lack of faith disturbing...

    Man, he's Verdine White!!!

    ;-)

  • Yes, of course he is, heisn't playing a bleeding sax !!!

  • Sincerely...after all I'm a bit fed up with to receive these ironic replies at least... I clearly see that the positions that he marks on the freatboard with the left hand don't correspond to the notes of the bassline...whoever plays bass can easily realize it.

It' definitely not a queston about 'lack of faith', It's just 'ear and eye' combined together that someone else doesn't evidently have!

    That's all for me.

  • No I do understand, now I've watched it back, I agree, with everything you say, maybe because this was one of Maurices last live appearances, they were miming to a backing track, so he wouldn't have to improvise. Sorry to sound ironic, previously.

  • There's no problem, perhaps also I've been too much touchy.

Anyway Verdine is the man who has written and played all the basslines of EWF's songs...and this will remains always a matter of fact!

  • try earth wind and fire, morris pleasure, and verdine white, jammin, then tell me hes not playing,

  • Nobody but Verdine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
