  • wake up too. We all deserve to be free

  • Humans are sheep too! The majority of people are slaves to their leaders, and don't realize it. We have some freedom, but not nearly as much as we could. The only way for the human race to be free is to come together as a whole. Sexism, Racism, Homophobia, Classism, Ageism, etc all keeps us in this slave state of mind. Who created all forms of hate? Only a minority of human beings, however they happen to have more power, but if humans woke up they'd finally see freedom. I hope all farm animals

  • I've got a question. I'm only 17 now but possibly in the future I may have a small collection sheep (I'm not a fan of goats, but I like Pygmies) but I don't know if it's okay to leave their coats on in certain weather. If you must sheer them, can you send the wool to a factoy to process it for you becasue I don't know anything about turning wool into clothing.

  • I just got into sheep myself. Luckily, I have katahdins, a "hair" breed of sheep that don't require shearing and are more resistant to internal parasites so with careful management require no/minimal worming. If you go with a wooled breed, as most are, you should shear them when it gets warm so they don't overheat. If you hire a shearer, they will buy the wool from you. Although wool demand is going down, so sometimes the shearing fee is more than the value of the wool.

  • Okay. Thank you for the response!

  • No problem, wherever I can be of service. :)

  • Interesting.
