I agree with this. I stopped buying from RIAA artists when I first started to read about the lawsuits. I discovered many non-riaa artists who I may not have found had they not decided to step on so many of their customers. It has been 5 years since I stopped listening to any of their artists. I used to buy anywhere from one to 3 CD's per week. The are allot like the politicians, they just don't get what people want.
i took it forward to 2:38 and thats the crack, that cracked me up, because it looks retarded, sorry if you didnt want it to look retarded but its funny as hell.
Actually a good suggestion, and I can't believe I've overlooked them prior to now. I'll include both a link to them and The Recording Industry vs The People as soon as I get a chance to edit the description.
Wow! I was officially the very first person to view this video right after it was uploaded! I posted it as a MySpace bulletin right afterwards! I'm surprised that it hasn't been banned yet! I'm not even a big fan of music in general, yet I agree with what you're saying. I found this through a Type O Negative search of youtube. You should redo it with some crappy overly popular artist to get yer point across!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!!
I disagree with the end part I like the rock groups mentioned at the end.

It was great until the end (the end part sucked (the rock group hater part especially the generic calling part).

I never new the IRAA gets 2% from CD-r sales. Ok thanks. I will now download and burn music with a clean conscious for the rest of my life.

RIAA.!! Take some simple advice.
1) Take a 33" long playing phonograph record and place it on the phonograph.
2) Turn the record play on
3) Position you butt over the centre pin.
4) Sit down on it and rotate.

Cary Sherman President of the Board of Directors of RIAA
Mitch Bainwol Chairman/CEO of the RIAA
Hillary Rosen Former Chairman thereof
Lyor Cohen North American Chairman/CEO of Recorded Music for Warner Music Group
Seymour Stein vice president Warner Bros. Records
Chairman/CEO of MPAA Daniel Glickman
Robert Igers Walt Disney Chairman
Tom Rothman chairman Fox Filmed Entertainment
All of them and many more are all Jews. So, when you say, "Fuck the RIAA" you are actually saying, "Fuck the Jews."

I didn't create the "comic" in the middle of the video, but rather I found it online.
Personally, I found it amusing (and true).

Well, the track is from "Dead Again," which is a non-RIAA album, so why not?
I mean, I unless you just don't like the band or something, in which case to each his own.

Thanks for the comments and the exposure.
If I redid it with a more popular artist, the major labels would have a justifiable cause to have it removed. As it is, they don't have a case.
