Plus the video is from 2007, couple of weeks after the game came out. Über rocketjumps were still a mystery to some people as you can see from the previous comments.
jump and crowch right at the moment you shoot rocket or sth.. just practise... learning by doing :D
oh and to the guy who made the vid... try to shoot rockets not just 90° downwards but turn 180° and then shoot at an angle of 80-60° that will give you additional length... :D
as newbie as the jumps on that video, i'm doing the uber rocketjump on several occasions on this one too, for example the first jump you can't get up to the highest level in the tower without it, exactly the same jump as going over the higher wall on 2fort(in fact just a bit harder since it's tiny bit higher). The point of this video wasn't to show some massive skill, just to show some jumps for gravel pit.
Uhm... these are some very basic jumps. you dont need a video to figure them out ;)
But still I appreciate your effort
