The AIP credits were 1. Very quick (because it came to TV in the US); 2. MONO (naturally-it was TV, but the real theatrical Japanese version was full STEREO); and finally 3. severely cut, taking out not only the jazziness of the full track, but also the 'constellations'--which are also MISSING in the International opening.
Ironically, SELI from MIssion Stardust (also AIP, same year) was rendered uncut (with the exception of the original "...4...3...2...1..Morte!" title card.
Enlighten a Brother!! I'm still trying to look for it (REGION 1-US). You'd think with the DVD success of "Monster X Strikes Back-Attack The G8 Summit", MEDIA BLASTERS would be all over the original. But, since the AIP version is owned by MGM, I'm hoping. (after all, MGM handled Youngary Monster From The Deep WELL--it was kinda 'deluxe'.)
Janus Films (the people that own the Criterion company) owns the rights to the film. If we can bug the hell out of them, maybe there's a chance we can get the film.
Here's something you'll never see anywhere else: The Japanese Shochiku logo...with the American International Television music from the 70s underneath it!
It's actually the international credit sequence with the AIP credit soundtrack dubbed over it. Obviously a weird fanmade hybrid version.

@codyhimes I don't think this some fan edit.

To uploader: where did you find these credits? I've never seen them before, they don't look like the Japanese or AIP credits.

Don't know the original source, I got it off Usenet.

this is the title credits from the ''international'' version of the film ''uchu daikaiju guirrara'' [1967] better known as the x from outerspace.

Ok, here is something to everyone: this is the international credits. Not the AIP for TV credits or the Japanese credits but the international.

That's Mt. Fuji, the seminal symbol of Japan. It has nothing do to with Paramount Pictures.

It just reminds him of Paramount

I am DYING to see a DVD of this soon. Hopefully MGM/FOX Midnight Movies might give it the DELUXE Treatment (like they just did for YONGARY).

It is out on DVD - I got it!
