i have problem,i buy my iphone 4 and i wont to unlock it on itunes but he was saying that my simcard was not correct (or somthing like that) so i jailbroken it but no i have now service... i think the problem is that my iphone 4 is never unlock it he is just jailbroken can enybody help me pleas?

after u do the unlock with ultrasn0w u need to go into ur iPhones settings and turn off the iPhones 3G network. And if this still doesn't work now try reseting ur network settings and you should be good after.

It worked on my Iphone. It was the last step in the downgrade from 2.2 to 1.1.4

is it possible to unlock the 2g with firmware2.0.2 to use it with t mobile? I did everything right, but the phone has not been activated yet and when I put my t mobile sim in it it goes to the page about the wrong sim card but I have full bars and people can also call me. I am just stuck at the window that says wrong sim card please change sim or connect to itunes... Do you have any suggestions?

If for some reason your installer is gone after running Kiphone, all u do is make sure itunes recognize the phone run Ziphone and hit jailbreak only that will bring your installer back with service Yayy!!

To fix the closing of the kiphone program move all the files from the kiphone folder to where ever you have the ziphone program files. put them in the same folder then the process will start.

Btw for anyone who has a jailbroken iphone with 2.0.2 software and is having this problem with no service.

Go into cydia and download a program called Bootneuter, once that is installed select everything (apart from fake blanker), let it flash and then restart the phone. You will now have reception. This is even easier than the method used in this video.

I dont know if this will work with 1.1.4 but if you can find bootneuter you should be ok

evrytime i try and unzip the file in kiphone, it tells me that i cannot unzip because there is a file with the same name as it. i am lost and confused. i upgraded and jailbroke my phone with 2.0.2. i noticed that i didnt unlock it and that it couldnt be unlocked with the 2.0.2 firmware. i fownloaded successfully back to 1.1.4. now im not gettin any service. neither is there a carrierbutton in my general options. downloaded kiphone and it wont let me unzip the files pppplllleeeaassee hhheeelllp!!

This is a fix to those people who went from 2.0.0 to 1.1.4.

If you're upgrading to 1.1.4 you shouldnt have problems, but what will happen is that you will need to unlock and jailbreak it again after you do the upgrade.
