I don't know but being a lantern takes a lot of practice to keep a combo going on a ps3 like that. I still haven't practiced much but I can see that it does take time to get the key strokes right on a controller.
The only downside to chaining your powers like that is you don't get the buffs/de-buffs associated with each skill. You still get your stuns, knockbacks, knockdowns, and, I think, panics but PoT, DMG de-buff, Healing de-buff, etc are only activated when first using a power. Also, everything after the first power uses Precision rather than Might; useful stuff to keep in mind.

Ahh yes I follow the same combo, I can keep it going a long time so long as the tank holds onto the agro (pve), it is quite fun in a large group of mobs, I always like to end it with a spinning weight (adds a little flair).

I know this is a few days late but your ring doesnt matter lol the ring isnt even the weapon you get light powers and pick which powers you want and you dont lose power when using combos because after the initial it counts them all as 1 attack its harder to pull off in a fight especially against a tank

I'm still a little confused here- What exactly is an 'infinite combo'? Any string of powers can be used repeatedly, regardless of class- The only thing I notice about this is that using the powers doesn't seem to actually consume your power, which... confuses me a little. What? Is this unique to the playstyle of the Green Lantern?
@Grengalis No, no and yes. It's called Construct. It's part of the Green Lantern Abilities where you can combo and combine Powers without loosing any actual Power at all.
@Grengalis What he means by infinite loop is the fact that Lantern powers can chain together with out using up the power bar. Sure other powers can combo but with the lantern set you can activate one and go into others.
@Grengalis No, you see when you keep your combo going you power pool is never drained, but if you PRESS another skill on your bar then you get your power drained. :)
@Grengalis Yeah, the Hard Light power lets you "chain" different abilities depending on what button you press (hold or tap) when the animation for the first one finishes. The flip side to this, and what keeps it from being a bit OP, is that after the first power the rest of the combo utilizes Precision instead of Might and doesn't apply the secondary buffs/debuffs of the power. So I can chain Claws (which has a PoT buff) to Whip Lash but I wouldn't get the DEF debuff Whip has.
id definitely say this is useful but in PvP or PvE anytime your that close to an enemy you're gonna get stunned or knocked back after 2 chains or so unless you're fighting henchman. Probably best for saving power and clearing out large mobs.
@kanerob62 What I do is just find a hood you like, then make your skin black, and give the char emissive eyes. I find that the skin looks better as glowing if you do that, but that's just me.
Yep, there's also Boxing -> handclap -> Grasping hands -> Light beam, and back to boxing.. It's nice to get that little stun in from Grasping hands, and light beam to make sure they don't get you knocked down.
Hey, I know your video is all about the Light powers and what not, but what kind of hood do you have on your character? I wanted to get something like that where my characters face is hidden all but the eyes. I can't seem to find any costume parts that allow such a thing. Care to help out?

@narutinhokaway you can use any weapon you want. The light is just the power type, not a weapon. You still get to choose your melee combat type after you choose the power.
Add Light Claws into it... Light Claw does so much damage and can stun lock players and mobs. In pvp I spam claws and ram they just die so funny... Light has so many stuns. Just about every ability has a stun.. Think about using this set in pvp lol.. So much fun...I'm respecing my build atm. I would also get Minigun.. It will stun, hold/halt, and knockdown mobs. Its aoe.. Its a beast for aggro control.. A few more lvls then I can do the full Infinite Combo... Nice video. Make a LIght guide
@MrHalasz - I think its worth it. Hard light is definitely unique, but in the name of balance I wouldn't say its "better" than the others. Of course, I'm a lifetime sub so "worth it" to me was having it just be there when I logged in.
@likelovinmik before the game went free to play there was an option of instead paying for a monthly fee you could pay 200$ and be legendary forever :P...no more subscription fees and you get access to the entire game...its worth it considering the game will have a ton of content :P

@toiletbowl69er This is not a glitch and works for multiple combos. I can't say for sure it works on the PS3 because I play on the PC side, but infinite combos are definitely a strong point to the hard light tree! The example in this video is one of many!
@scoopy00 I can confirm it works on the PS3, exactly the same way and very awesome however I suggest setting up ur bars with 1. chainsaw 2. ram 3. whip 4. clap <-- ps3 controller ownage :P
@vanwavanwa You wouldn't need the other skills on your bar. You only need to have them unlocked. You can put Chainsaw and Chainsaw only on your hotbar and still do this. You can save your other slots for buffs, supercharges, iconics, or other 'emergency' skills.

So the sequence on this would be "5" for Chainsaw, followed by 3-4 left clicks to continue activating chainsaw, followed by right click for ram, followed by 2 left clicks for the two whip attacks, followed by 2-3 right clicks to hand clap, then back to left clicking for Chainsaw.
Thank you - I haven't leveled a GL toon yet but, was happy to see a short, concise video on employing skills - inexperienced players like myself could benefit from a collection of such tutorials.
You should start with punching glove for longer combo and knock up so they're in the air when it happens then shift to hand clap and onward, flight helps you get to them when the combo moves the enemy about.

Light powers aren't necessarily better than others, but they're powerful as hell. In melee
In range they're not very effective.

Actually you can get deputized if you have previous characters of any level.
I had my level 30 controller and my level 15 tank deputized into the GL and SC respectively.
