No not exactly,the timeline was disrupted and everyone changed,for instance, Eva Lee was the intel officer for the allies,when time was altered by the soviets, Eva Lee was changed to Eva McKenna and Eva Lee's appearance changed in the alternate timeline.

Also,Tanya had a change in appearance when time altered wherein her hair became blonde.

It's possible that in this alternate timeline,Yuri has been changed and replaced into Yuriko due to the disruption in the normal timeline.

The point though is that 2 and 3 rewrote history, creating an alternate timeline, so TD can still run on its own, these are just happening alongside it in another timeline/dimension/version of the world. Alternate reality if you will.

you know i totaly think this game looks cool, but the storyline or at least what they show here... Its pathetic. Like EA put no effort into making this plausible. Besides the time travel which is fine by me, Einstien hardly made the US invincible. Sure the atom bomb, but like the US were planning a massive invasion of Japan before the bomb the bomb was just a "oh hey check this shit out, lets try it"... Japan was already losing too the Soviets were planning to invade from the north with the US.

I think the "invincible" part was from the Red Alert universe more than reality. In Red Alert 2, Einstein was the driving force behind a lot of the Allied technology.

This appears to be a continuation of that.
