for one, i am not yet convinced. $50 oil to destroy iran does not make sense to me. iran has said time and time again, that oil price is too high and there is no supply issue. its just the dollar loosing value (very simple). because the dollar is loosing value, iran does not want to sell its oil in usd (who would?) and so this puts additional pressure on the demand for USD and further threatens the USD as other OPEC nations might move away from the USD.

not to mention that IRAN's real asset is Natural Gas which is considered to be the next hottest thing because it is a clean energy , Iran does not really rely massively on crude oil exports, 5 years ago they would have dreamed getting $50 a barrel , today they are getting 3 times that much , and going back to $50 won't affect them at all , because they are still basing their 5 years financial plans on an estimated $30 to $40 oil price
