I say, if you believe that an artist has touched your soul, focus on his music and not on trivial matters.

Music is universal, so to speak. And these masterpieces does not necessary reflect of the artist's or performer's beliefs and background (even if they unconsciously imply)... MJ's music are beautiful in it's essence, and though he may have lived a different life, that does not mean we should abandon his music as well. There are a lot of musical geniuses and well known painters who have lived differently yet their works are recognized separately from the masters themselves..
