it was not a bomb it was the spent (meaning empty) rocket booster from the probe that hit the moon in a crater that does not get sunlight at all.
after it hit, debris from the moon flew out of the crater into the sunlight and was studied by the probe, that information was then sent to earth for analysis.
in order for the probe to be able to get the information it had to be very close to the moon and was crash on the moon also
why are this people looking for water on the moon when we have all the water here on our beautiful earth? i am sorry folks i just don't buy that bullshit ass coverup story here is an better idea nasa if you want water on the moon how about you bring some up there next time?
@TheTubeEmperor For moon bases. If we can mine ice from the rock, put it in filters in a space station orbiting the moon/earth and bases on the earth. And we can get some coke, soda, beer, wine, plants, food, coffee, and much more.
@TheTubeEmperor -- They're looking for water on the moon because they are thinking of sending astronauts back there to stay longer.
And if they do that and there is no water already there, they need to spend millions of dollars per pound to send water from Earth. It is tremendously expensive to lift anything from Earth all the way to the moon.

what's gonna happen is exactly the same thing that happens all the time when an asteroid hits the moon. don't think it will be anything new

The ET's will probably disable the bomb before it even gets anywhere close to the surface.
