  • Wow! Fan since 1977.

  • I can listen to this song 25 times in a row...and I have.

"Tough talkin' hood boyz, in pro-team logo knock-offs, conform to uniforms of some corporate entity."

Detroit's and Philadelphia's theme song. Flash mod, anyone?

  • i love it when the band gets oblivious to as rather we were even here or not. my favourite poundcake.

  • @SuperMegaUberGenius

i keep seeing your comments...why do you write in such a cryptic way? Are you cursed?

  • and by-time oclock news i mean three past pitchfork, mkk

  • lets see, obama killed osama but oj's still perpwalking on sensaclock news means without seeds , right?

  • vertigeaux 5t6

    2011 test machine 4 time

  • AMAZING drums in the begining

  • Such an underrated song. Wonder why they dropped it entirely. Someone doesn't like it! I always thought it would be a good show opener.

  • @JNJChaos yeah that's the same way i feel about it...definitely gives off an eerie/mysterious vibe, but still manages to rock hard...Rush is amazing...

  • I think this is within 5 days of the death of Neil's daughter...yikes!

  • Man I started to stray away from Rush for a while, in favor of more technical prog. I got sort of reintroduced by a friend. I can't believe I was able to overlook Alex Lifeson for so long, listening back his style really influenced so many other great guitar players. Easily my favorite of the 70's-80's era, and to me one of the only guitarists great enough from the era to compete with my favorite guitarists of the 90's and 2000's. What a legend.

  • I loved this tour! The first time I got to see them live!!!

  • I loved this tour! The first time I got to see them live!!!

  • One of my faves from the album of the same name if not my absolute favorite. Hard to say cause i also love Totem, Color Of Right, Driven, Limbo .... :-)) Hell the whole thing! Great sounding album!

  • @vinnykster good call this is a T4E is an OUTSTANDING record. Resist, Virtuality... I think The Color of Right was my favorite from that album. But, yeah, the whole thing is good. I thought Geddy Lee's solo album in 2000 had quite a Test for Echo flavor, too.

  • @vinnykster this album simply sounds great.....I just LOVE the way every instrument was recorded. Love it.

  • and in time 2010 wind up in the perp walk aunt tv

  • Geddy is a machine player on bass guitar... thank`s for this video, expresing the live concert on the row front... and good audio too. thx.

  • fabulous song :) but wasent this the year neils wife and daughter died and he went on a big moterbike ride or something, how could he play this gig at the same time ? :/

  • @smb40 They died after the tour was finished.

  • I wish i would've been able to go on this tour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Being 3 in 1997 sucks!

  • Damn. Lee just really sounds tremendous!

  • Killer footage! Very nice.

  • They sound so good live!

  • Rush comes in with a strong but captivating guitar riff comes the drum beat which hooks you in, then comes the bass line witch crushes you with its massive sound. yep thats a Rush song for you!

  • 3:09 to 3:24 just OWNING it

  • i love this song so much! please rush, play this one more time live!!!

  • This is one thing I like about the band. There are only 3 band members, but they produce a lot of great sounds. Especially this song. I love the opening guitar sound.

  • @XanaduNintendo156 I so agree with you alot of great sounds and songs. there the best band ever to me

  • BEST BASSLINE EVAR

  • what great band they sound just as good live as they do on a CD. A band that can play and sing. They dont need 100 track overdubing to sound good.

  • @kevinpur Except that Vapor Trails was extreme overdubbing to a maximum

  • great song!

  • they get better every album

  • A legendary band! i was on the concert in Mannheim 2007 it was awesome!

  • OJ looks older.... lol

    damn P4E

  • they looked so much older now..

  • My favorite album.

  • i saw them for my first time ever on this tour at Darien Lake, and seen them manymore but ill never forget my first

  • The "Test for Echo" tour was my first for them as well...the first of many...This band rocks and owns a slab of rock legend!

  • The only thing I can say thats bad is that most booters with cameras only pay attention to Geddy. I hardly ever see them looking at Alex or Neil. And the people walking in front of the cameras suck too. Too bad they don't have film crews at every stop.. There would be soo many boots out there

  • so, mr whining willy,

produce your own pile of shit and put it where it belongs, here on you tube

  • Ummmmmm that's because Geddy Lee RULES !!!!!

  • True, but there are two other people in the band who are just as talented.

  • Too-shay !!!!!!!!!!

  • Great to see this, I was there for both shows in Toronto in '97. Brings back fond memories!

  • Brilliant lyrics and a great tune!

I'm very much into Test for echo (the album) nowadays. Lots of gems on it.

I like the way Geddy looks here. Very cool.

    tnx for posting

  • video...vertigo!

  • this video is older than me by a few months geddy lee has a funny nose this song is so awesome

  • wow i should see them sometime soon...

  • I love the leather pants!!!

    WAY TO GO ALEX!!!

    AWESOME!!!

  • test4rube gerld bergeron devicicew popp tadr, hath some evil sonma

    hath no light rivendale?

  • very relaxing concert.. i was there, love this Rush stuff, Counterparts and TFE

  • you've right Counterparts and Test are the best in -90 for rush!!!!

  • THE PERP WAIK.

  • This performance is excellent for several reasons; one, the instrumentation is germane for this style/compsition . two, the tempo is just right as is the mix/amplification. Everything's perfectly audible; bass g. , kick, snare, hi hat, etc... and the guitar isn't just overwhelming. THIS is good, this is how IT SHOULD be played, not just then but always..

  • if i droppped, but i didn;t , don't plame valerie, reesa. sense-o-clock- wet paper, some clean window, touch and go. wow. fllored. most visionaries, um, trill.

  • this was the first tour i saw rush. i still vividly remember the entire show it was insane!! and theyve gotten better every tour

  • Perhaps my favorite Rush song to date.

  • I was ucky... i got to see them on their first show during the S&A tour... what a night that was.... drum solo was weird though. Great song.

  • im seeing them august 23rd and 24th and September 8th and 9th.

  • Hopefully going to see them in october. Second time they'll of come to the UK in 20 years.

  • wow i should see them sometime soon... But im seeing switchfoot! Like them!

  • Hell yeah Rush!!!! I'm seeing them on there Snakes & Arrows Tour!!!

  • lucky this is the first time i get to see them

  • i love rush i get to go to their concert august 3 in a limo and their new cd is coming out soon

  • Im seeing them 3 times in Phoenix San Diego and Irvine.
