I was, it was a double edged sword though. Got to see it all then watched it fall. I can say i don't recall a single song that was a waste of time to listen to. The other aspect is that as a teen in the 80's when dating if a song was "Your song" and the relationship ended, it sometimes hurt to listen to the song. Good with the bad. Just glad i experienced the 80's completely.

Love this song! Debbie Gibson was the original teen idol of the late 80's. I was a teen when Debbie first came out and now as a grown adult, I still get sentimental when I hear this song, even after 20 years.
