@bashdawg911 I'm surprised the amount of stupidity some of you individuals possess.. This video is 5 months old. This is a cardio workout and not suppose to get you "BIG". Its suppose to lean you out. I go to the gym in the PM after I do this cardio in the AM. I'm in my bulking phase right now.
@JcruzUSAF yeaaa i realized after i posted the comment that maybe ur using ur computer cuse u have the dvd files all saved onto the computer and its more convenient :D
@savator408 I definitely agree! I don't like how P90x rushes the weight training either! Its more of a cardio workout instead of strength training or bulking!
I just saw the informercial about 15 minutes ago, and omg! I'm supep excited to get busy w/ the sickest workout ever. Your video helped motivate me, so thankss. Gonna get up in about 7 hours and get w/ it.
@ForeverParisLove hey, ive just got insanity.im going to start it tomorrow how have you got as its been 3 months since im pressuming you started. hope it went well and you got good results :)
im 14 and im pretty big for my size (tall not fat) i play football but i feel that footlball is not giving me enough for my body. i want to come back to school after summer with a ripped body and i have the self motivation to do it. i also think that the weight bench i have at my house isn't good enough either. should i buy insanity or wait a few more years? if so what other workouts would be good for me. (like u said about your abs) i also strongly plan on joining the air force when i grow up
@Icewolf241 I use Insanity as a cardio workout in the AM but I still do strength training w/ weights in the PM. Majority of the work is done w/ your meal planning though. 2 different phases when your cutting and bulking.
im 14 and im pretty big for my size (tall not fat) i play football but i feel that footlball is not giving me enough for my body. i want to come back to school after summer with a ripped body and i have the self motivation to do it. i also think that the weight bench i have at my house isn't good enough either. should i buy insanity or wait a few more years? if so what other workouts would be good for me. Dude, I'm gonna tell you, if you are training like THAT consistently, join the Marines...the boot camp is MUCH more physically involved than Air Force boot camp..I GURANTEE it, take from me, been in the Marines for 5 years now, you will be disappointed with the fitness level required for airmen...the intensity you are working out at is EXACTLY what the drill instructors are looking for....good work
ok this might sound retarded but my sister keeps scaring me. I wanna do insanity but im 192lbs. i wanna do it in my living room which has a wood floor. i wanna kn for the jumping parts is it possible for me to actually go through the floor?
@DiscoverAwesomeness I'm assuming your living room is downstairs and you will be doing Insanity on the first floor and not the second. If so then you should be fine. LOL that would be hilarious if you fell through... Just saying. But as long as you have proper form on the jumps and land correctly you should absorb most of the shock.
@DiscoverAwesomeness she lied to you lmfao you dont fall through the wooden floor unless you your house is broken hahaha your sisters funny. dont worry you will be fine.
Dude you're already slim...You need to do a different kind of workout...P90X might be a better fit for you to gain more muscle...With Insanity it's more for getting trimmed..
all this is for looks...it dont make you a better athlete. My videos show how you should train to be an all around athlete. i dont care about no 6 pack...that is not how youd train for a mma fight for endurance..its all about running, swimming, skating and basketball
@UsafRich08 Yeah my friend Wilfred called me last week from AFBMT since he's graduating next week and said that PT at the AFBMT is a joke. The training I do is way harder the AFBMT!
well done bro , you did very well , i'm n the way i just got my package , i know its hard but once you made it its means a lot for every one well do soon :)
Dude. No offense. Congrats for doing this, but this program is a 5 out of 10 compared to P90X. P90X is a complete program that incorporates everything, not just strictly cardio like insanity. Your a beast though. Good job!
You said you did P90X first? You'd think you'd have a little more muscle mass. Did you complete it 100% and stick to the diet?
@jDanko53 Lol I've posted my reasoning 100's of times why I like Insanity better. But I'll post again.. I do Insanity for my morning cardio. I have my own weight training schedule setup in the afternoon and long distance running every other day with my Air Force Spec Op guys. However this Insanity you just watched was 3 months ago... Watch my most recent one. I put on more size. When I filmed this Insanity I had stopped doing weight training to just focus on cardio. Therefore losing mass
@jDanko53 I dislike P90X because they rush the weight training meaning you can't max out on certain muscles. You also have to stick with reasonably light weights just to keep up with their pace. It was more of a cardio workout with weights which I didn't like. But I screwed up because I did the P90X 2 times on Doubles with the diet and everything. But I had the mentality at the time that if I want to get cut I had to only take in 1500 calories. I obviously lost muscle because of this.
@jDanko53 You can't Compare P90x to Insanity, While P90x is the Pinnacle of Muscle Growth and Strength Insanity is the Pinnacle of Cardio and Endurance. P90X Make's Insanity's Upper Body weight training look like a joke... And Insanity's Cardio makes P90x's cardio look like a joke... They are both Amazing Products! See it this way... Wanna get ripped? - P90X Want to be BEAST Athlete- Insanity Wanna be In the best Shape you will ever be? - Stick to Beachbody!!! lol
Can I just say that I appreciate the fact that you recorded yourself working out within the confines of your room, following the workout which i think I saw was playing on your laptop... It's one thing to hear those people on the infomericials say it can be done in the privacy of your own home, but you took it to a whole new level, showing that it can be done in your bedroom! I was going the P90X route, but I'm taking the INSANITY challege instead. Thanks for posting! P.S. I'm in DEP too!
@ChadKalten0523 Yes. How else do you expect to gain mass and muscle growth? Just doing Calisthenics will give you endurance and make you cut if you follow a proper nutrition plan. But it will not give you that much muscle growth or strength.
@itsdarellcuh LOL I didn't even read one bit of the P90x/Insanity diet! I'm well informed and have a great deal of knowledge already on proper nutrition and the different characteristics when it comes to Gaining or Cutting. I just put on 10 more lbs in 4 weeks and now I am cutting right now. I plan to have a new video up soon. I definitely increased my muscle mass.
@JcruzUSAF oh deng you tight... you think i should follow their diet? or what... what do you recommended, i dont really know much about dieting so yeah -_-
@josephfleck Good luck! I finished it two times already! I'm about to finish it for the third time this weekend! LOL. But feel free to answer some of these individuals questions for me! I don't really have a lot of time to be on here since I have things to be done for the military. So it would be great to get some of these individuals questions answered in a jiff!
@ItzBloodyxGunner I finished P90X two times on the doubles program. I absolutely hated it because they rush the weight training rendering it ineffective to get a good workout. So I just use Insanity every morning at 0500 for my cardio as well as running miles throughout the week. But I also do weight training every day in the afternoon.
the chairforce boot camp isn't all that hard, its actually the easiest out of all the branches, this insanity workout is probably harder than their training
@phratBoii So then I should have no problem. Train for the worst, expect the best. I was a Law Enforcement: Sheriff Explorer and we had Marines for our D.I.'s. A lot of my friends are in the Marine Corps and I am just use to training with them. The reason Air Force BMT isn't hard is because of the general field the Air Force serves. (Technical, Electrical, blah blah blah) However within the Air Force are Spec Op units and Security Forces. These are the more difficult areas at Tech School.
@phratBoii The ranking of basic training from hardest to easiest is : Marine Corp Army Air Force Coast guard Navy The Air Force has changed their fitness standards. But Basic/Boot is only 8 to 14 weeks long, people put way to much importance on it. Ait is much harder than Basic/Boot. Predeployment training is way harder than Basic/Boot. After you have been in the service for a year, what you did at basic/boot is meaningless.
@JcruzUSAF I just wanna lose weight in my stomach n face n dats all I dnt wanna get ripped. I just want a smaller stomach n 6pack. Will insanity workout give me dat in 60days?
@JcruzUSAF I'm tryna lose my stomach n get a 6pack n lose some weight in my face. Can insanity do dat? Or p90x. But I dnt wanna get ripped I just wanna lose weight dats all.
@enjoythewildUSA I don't like P90X. They rush it especially when you do weight training. I prefer lifting every other day and have Insanity as my morning cardio training.
@JcruzUSAF I understand what you mean about them rushing the workouts. I'm probably looking to get something different out of it than you, however, since I'm 41. When they move with little rest, its strenuous and builds a different kind of conditioning. When I was in my teens and early 20's, I played football in high school and college and went for longer rest breaks and greater muscle mass. I'm no longer concerned with that. My main goal is to stave off dropping dead. : )
@enjoythewildUSA Well for a 41 year old on P90x thats awesome! Keep it up! There is actually a girl on the Insanity video who is 40 as well but she looks like she's in her 20's! If she can do it then I'm sure you can! But yes my fitness goal is to maintain a strong core, huge arms and shoulders while having insane cardio!
@Omazes The days I don't feel like training absolutely at all I take my emergency pre-workout supplement. N.O. XPLODE. Look it up on google. But I use it like seriously once every month and thats it. I'm so focused on the military and motivated as hell that I have no problem sticking to my workouts. But no workout will suffice if you do not have a proper balanced nutrition schedule and proper water intake per day. I eat every 2-3 hrs lots of protein and 1 gallon of water per day.
@Omazes P.S. I PROBABLY MOST LIKELY AM TRAINING OVER MY HEAD SINCE I'M ENTERING THE AIR FORCE. NOT EXACTLY THE HARDEST PHYSICAL STANDARDS. I've taken a Law Enforcement:Explorers program and we had Marines for D.I.'s and they kicked our ass while the Army, Navy, and Air Force guys just stood around taking up space doing nothing. I have high respect for the Marines and almost enlisted into the Marines until I was contacted by the Air Force which they have way further better opportunities...
@Omazes But I have always stayed fit since I was a Freshmen in High School. Its just a lifestyle I've developed. But I change up my weight training schedule every 2 months to keep your muscles confused. You don't want your muscles to get used to working the same thing over and over.
@deathouroboros haha noo! That leg was just sore as hell from last weeks Insanity workout! I just started Max Interval sessions for month two and it was way harder then month 1! :O But pain will not stop me from working out! hahah
@TickleMebird Insanity can retail anywhere from $100-250 depending on if you find the right place to buy it from. But it is definitely worth your money. I wouldn't even be making a video if I didn't think so. Nor would I be on the program to train for boot camp if I tough it was a waste of time. :O Definitely hands down the bees knees.
looks fun

You don't want your muscles to get used to working the same thing over and over.

is it worth the money? how much did you pay for it? i've heard 50-100 seems like a good program for people going into the military
