You have to dive back into the context, in order to understand Quran 9:29.
1) Muslims are bound to pay, a fixed percentage, annually to Charity. The non-Muslims are exempted for this obligation, however, they are bound to pay some settled tax, just like in any modern state.

The reference, research on Hadith n history. Hadith r the reported sayings of the Prophet(pbuh). Some r authentic, some less reliable and some r not reliable.
Quran is, literally, the word of God. If anything from the Hadith, contradicts the Quran, its not a hadith n is thrown against the wall.

Even today there r many Muslims around the globe with Doctorate in Hadith Research. Unless something solid develops against a Sahih Hadith, Its Authentic. Each Hadith is an entirely different scenario, from research perspective. It takes 8 years of extensive study to be a "Sheikh ul Hadith". Its a very vast subject!!

The fact, of which many people are not aware is that 'Al-Tabari' documented, anything he knew or came to know. The reason for documenting this is that, he provided the material for the later generation to research.

You have to dive back into the context, in order to understand Quran 9:29.
1) Muslims are bound to pay, a fixed percentage, annually to Charity. The non-Muslims are exempted for this obligation, however, they are bound to pay some settled tax, just like in any modern state.
2) This verse is talking about those pagans of Makkah that violated the peace treaty between Muslims and them.

@pigment777 when prophet mohammed (PBUH) married Aisha, he was old and needed someone fresh minded to be close to him to gain the massive knowledge from him and takes the responsibility to teach people about Islam especially to set up personal matters related to women.
We all know that Aisha was the most loved person to Muhammed after Khadeeja.
Believe me Aisha has transferred most of the Islamic Principles and Hadiths to all Muslims and we are still benefiting from that up to know.

According to Ibn Hajar, Fatima was born at the time the Ka`bah was rebuilt, when the Prophet was 35 years old... she was five years older that Ayesha (Al-isabah fi tamyizil-sahabah, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, Vol. 4, p. 377, Maktabatul-Riyadh al-haditha, al-Riyadh, 1978).
If Ibn Hajars statement is factual, Ayesha was born when the Prophet was 40 years old. If Ayesha was married to the Prophet when he was 52 years old, Ayeshas age at marriage would be 12 years.

If Ayesha was betrothed in 620 CE (at the age of seven) and started to live with the Prophet in 624 CE (at the age of nine), that would indicate that she was born in 613 CE and was nine when she began living with the Prophet. Therefore, based on one account of Al-Tabari, the numbers show that Ayesha must have born in 613 CE, three years after the beginning of revelation (610 CE). Tabari also states that Ayesha was born in the pre-Islamic era (in Jahiliya).

The reference, research on Hadith n history. Hadith r the reported sayings of the Prophet(pbuh). Some r authentic, some less reliable and some r not reliable.
Quran is, literally, the word of God. If anything from the Hadith, contradicts the Quran, its not a hadith n is thrown against the wall.

Each Hadith is an entirely different scenario, from research perspective. It takes 8 years of extensive study to be a "Sheikh ul Hadith". Its a very vast subject!!

Try to bring a girl without a veile there and see how peacful they are. Or maybe read loud from the bible in the streets Hahaa... they would tear you apart like the animals they are. Peacful my ass.
And the Saudie people even alow old men to marrie young girls only 8 years old.!! They don´t let their women drive car. No demonstrations etc...

@pigment777 I am sorry that you have experienced such things. The things you have seen or heard about Islam do not portray Islam at all. In Islam, we are not allowed to force people into or out of a religion. Also, Islam is against forced marriages. I know that there are a muslim people who force their daughters into marriage, but that is not allowed in the religion itself!! So, they are sinning. Not letting their women ride cars?? Women used to ride horses in the Prophet's time!
