@JansydOriginal this song is part rock and part worship, the part worship is where i come in, i want to spread the word of God, i want to make them believe that God is the way to salvation, so if you have read my very first comment, then you should know that whatever religion your in as long as you believe in God then he will come and save you, if you have sinned, as long as you pray to God, he will forgive and save you.

EVERYONE! Christianity is all these things. Religion. Relationship. But most importantly its a way of life. And we are bound by the rules because those that love Him will follow his teachings. The law isn't what gets us into heaven. It is by His blood but to know Him is to follow His teachings and take up our crosses daily. Our lives should be an example, salt and light in the world. :)

I remember crying my eyes out to this song in my basement one night. I had been running from God, I just didn't feel like He could love me, and this song hit me so hard. I know He loves me, and He loves my satanist father, and he loves my atheist mother. He's so amazing! To be honest, I started tearing up while typing this. For those of you who don't think God can love you because of what you've done, you're so wrong. God makes beauties out of the broken. I know from experience.

Remember that Hebrews 10:17 says He's forgotten our sins whenever we confess them. 1 John 1:9 says the same. Hebrews 13:5 says He'll never leave or forsake us.

Skillet restored my faith in God. There was a time when I denied Him, but their music helped me open my eyes - this song in particular with the lines "All the promises and lies/All the times I've compromised/All the times you were denied/You have forgiven".
