I have lived in Franklin for all 26 years of my life and I assure you, even though there are no "big trucks" allowed on the Highlands Rd., they're on it everyday. I've passed semis, dump trucks and various others. The cops don't enforce the law enough about that. One of these days, someone's gonna be pushed off the gorge by one of them. As it stands already though, numerous cars have went off into the gorge because there just isn't enough guard rail/wall in the most dangerous parts because i

The part where you start up Cowee Mtn. is considered one of the top ten speed traps in the world, cause if you're coming down the other way it's super easy to get way over the speed limit if you're not watching how fast you're going.

Not many. I was getting passed left and right. In this situation, 55 was too fast for some of the curves. I was going 30 to 35, in spots.
