of course they are dissapiring too fast looking at your weapons you are good in late game to research that much so not problem to wipe them off with so much firepower :D
best way to kill dreadnoughts is others dreadnoughts beams weps and long range ballistic like rail cannons and some cases drones will do fine also if enemy lacs pd weps
I just bought the SOTS Complete Collection on Steam because I heard it was one of the most streamlined 4X games since MOO2 (which I still play on occasion). I was expecting dated graphics but this video footage looks pretty good! Can't wait to get it installed and jump into the action now.

@ ColdieHU das game ist aus dem Jahr 2006 und die grafikoptionen sind auf hoch... das liegt glaube ich an der qualität des videos... eigentlich ist die grafik relativ gut.
@Alvsyn No, it was my intention to show this nice ships.... The enemy ships died so fast... so what should i show there? Perhaps you like to see it but I like looking to my ships during they are firing...
@Caladrio1 klar da gibt es hunderte an raumschiff und waffen Kombinationsmöglichkeiten. Man kann auch mit vielen kleinen Schiffen durch die Gegend fliegen oder Jäger bauen. Außerdem ist das nur das Kampfsystem... man kann z.B. auch noch Planeten besiedeln.
Wie schon gesagt sind die Kombinationen von Waffen und Schiffen (die man erst erforschen muß) sehr groß. Auch agieren und reagieren die Gegner ziemlich intelligent und machen einem ganz schön Dampf. Was ein wenig fehlt im Vergleich zu anderen Spielen ist der Planetenausbau und der Bodenkampf, sonst macht es echt Laune und ist auch sehr leicht nach Geschmack zu editieren/modden.

das spiel sieht ganz gut aus aber das gameplay kommt mir langweilig vor x.x
muss man da auch mehr machen als so ein wenig die truppen zu "lenken" ?
