You obviously don't actually listen to what Dana and others of her belief set actually have to say. Her answers are too the point and specific, but they don't fit into Spitzer's template, so he continually interrupts her before she finishes her sentence. Her point is that if the Constitution doesn't allow it, then the government has NO business and NO right to do it. But again, that doesn't fit Spitzer and the Left's template and their nanny-state monolithic view of Washington.
Actually, she never mentioned any spending cuts. She simply made comments that sort of made it out to be like she MIGHT want to cut from Social Security for example....but she didn't actually say she would cut from it(and Social Security is also unconstitutional). She later said that anything unconstitutional would be up for spending cuts but it took her forever to say it. Before that, she made not explicit mention of cuts.
@stealthswimmer Spitzer in a not a journalist. He was behaving like a prosecutor on speed. Snarky and arrogant. What experienced person would provide concrete answers for spending cuts on a TV show. Spitzers motives were to try and frame her answers into a soundbites. Kinda childish. He was almost drueling, playing his pseudo-intellecual games. You know nothing of Dana. Unlike Spitzer, She is the anti-totalitarian. She exposes the control freaks. She was not going let herself be used.
