You could have set the fly up first in the rain, then you could have gotten under there and set up the mesh tent. You'd have been putting finishing touches from the vestibule.
@mmalbone I have tried that a couple of times and find it rather cumbersome to try and squeeze in and get everything hooked up.If it was pouring rain I probably would have done that though.
@dinnerandashow Yes it is big enough for a mother in law. I would suggest a separate tent though... The mesh on the inside is not a mother in law break!
