zhang liao & xu huang are one of the most well-balanced wei characters....cuz dian wei. xu chu, cao ren, pang de are all slow....& sima yi, zhang he, zhen ji are all unbalanced...
Well its easier because damage dealt by the enemy is a lot smaller, so mistakes are affordable. There's also a lot of meat buns available. But this could be a never ending debate cuz seriously, DW3 He Fei is easy, but it is really hard to beat it with some characters like Zhuge Liang
what is your aim in making this 6 min vid on zhang liao beating up all the general..? 'coz it seems to me, you were just heading straight for the generals, which actually makes every stage easier to finish. try doing that in DW3's Seige of He Fei Castle and i guarantee you, it wont end the way you'd expect it to..mwahahahaha!!

its because it has a lot of surround archers which makes the map hard. It makes a very good "test" level to present all the characters nicely for my guide since the difficulty rises gradually from regular officers to two commanders in the end.
hmm dyou think u could do a Mai castle on chaos following all the objectives? like i wanna see what actually happens when you DONT...like with melee confusion stuff.
like involve cinematics, on hard mode, any character you wish just not xing cai guan ping or guan yu(or pick them if there are added cinematics.)
If you've checked out my tier list for XL, I have Guan Yu just above Zhang Liao, and they are in the same tier. So for the most part I think they are very close
Because of Guan Yu's light 4th weapon, his attack is quite weak. However, this weakness is only a disadvantage against officers, because doing even a shortened true musou will kill all or most of the peons in sight. So overall, Guan Yu has a harder time dealing with officers quickly, when Zhang Liao can do it in one simple string of attacks.
after that comment on their musous, I believe Zhang Liao to be slightly better against officers, simply because he is stronger. But I think Guan Yu is better in a lot of ways, defensively.
They have about the same reach, but Guan Yu's attacking speed is way faster, and this make his jabs and vertical strikes less of a disadvantage. Zhang Liao's one jab in his normal attack string may be hard to execute safely in some situations.
A very useful property of Guan's normal atks is they have fast recovery, and bc of long reach, u can abuse the ones with wide range, ie. his second and fourth normal atks. So you can purposely stop after these atks, and start atking again (esp in XL). This is a huge defensive advantage
Other notes:
Guan's true musou allows him to juggle the masses of peons thrown into the air -> ez musou filling
Zhang's true musou turns into a juggling musou, and you would need to rely on ice for full damage

um...I own DW3...and Siege of He Fei is the only stage I ever play.
It in some ways harder than this...but in many ways easier.
Maximizing a simple character in DW3 Hard He Fei is even simpler, but probably even more boring to watch.
I think you meant you guarantee that it wont end up being the same as this vid...
cuz I know how it will be in that game...another simple but longer victory.
