have you ever heard of Vitamin's String Quartet Tribute to Iron Maiden ? Dono if thats their name... they made a cd tribute to maiden's first few cd's...Piece of mind/powerslave...

You should go play with them! or at least play the same song at the same speed and record it... Maiden's melody's simplified like this really shows their musical abilty

you got a very good taste in Maiden's songs but a very long one :-)

The main "problem" with Maiden is the songs length, that's why it takes me some time to convert it from band arrangement into 2 hands and one piano arrangement.

There are several tribute cds:

"The Piano Tribute to Iron Maiden"

piano only, the playing is fantastic but the song selection should be different to fit the piano better(you can find it on youtube)

"The Hand Of Doom Orchestra Plays Piece Of Mind"

this one sounds like synthesized orchestra (no piano) it's a full "Piece Of Mind" cover

"The String Quartet-Anatomy of Evil"

this one is pretty good, only strings and some percussions. the strings are pretty powerfull so it fits maiden's songs
