that's not high tuning!!! 40hz is mid tuning high tuning would be 50hz!!! and 30hz would be low tuning!!!

with 40hz tuning can you hit the low note in put on im looking at getting new subs and i want at least 2 18s maybe 4 in the future but i want to hit the low lows and i was looking at getting the FI Qs but these have my attention now but ive heard they need to be tuned high ive also heard that they are basically DD with a diff dustcap what would you recommend thanks

@Skip01 I dont beleive anyone who says aq's love highs.. and not lows as much... cept i run mine daily at 28 hz and they were wicked.. pulled almost a 140 @ 30hz on a 2200d. in an ext cab.. my new box is 33hz tuning now, but its just because i broke my old box even after it was fiberglasses, awaiting 2 more hdc3 12's and 2 3500d's for next yr, and a ton of bats hahah

Theres gonna be 2 Pos and 2 Neg on the sub.....run a wire from one pos to the other side neg and than the remainin Pos and Neg to the Pos and Neg on amp....that will give a dual 1 sub to 2ohm

I am looking to get two of them and put them in my current box for my BL's(13 cubes tuned to 36) and throw a couple more thousand watts to them and then will probably build a new box with aero ports(homemade ports though, lol) and do my first tuning to 40 hz. if you seem to like how it sounds. Does it play stuff like beats 4 my van pretty good?

Oh, btw, I would be looking at getting two 18 inch versions powered off a xxx-6500d(being shipped soon)

I like them at 40hz, they played everything i throwed at them and didnt lose any of the upper like if you would tune low

I have 2 of the 18's on their way(will be here tuesday) and I have a xxx-6500d waiting for them(on a 12 volt system but stays steady around the high 13's low 14's when Im really cranking it)
