  • @envious123 I don't know who your teachers are, but this is not the interpretation of the meaning of the hadith, nor the words of Umar. You have to learn aqidah, my brother, then these thing will be clear to you.

  • @envious123 This is not true. This hadith was not translated rigth. The term here is not "precedent" but "sunnah".. So it goes like this "He who sets a good sunnah...". And even if we take your translation of the hadith it doesn't mean that you can invent a new bidah. Look when this hadith was said by Rasul, s.a.w.s., and you will see that what that sahabi did was not an innovation - and read the entire hadith not just the last part.

  • @truthofislam yes the bidah that does not contradict quran and sunna that bidah is halal for instance Hadrat umar (radi allahu anhu) in the time of his caliphate, called the people to perform tarawi prayers in congregation (jamaat), whereas it used to be prayed individually at the time of the holy prophet mohammed (saw), and commented what a beautiful bidah (innovation)

  • @envious123 this is a clear shubuhat. 1st Did Umar r.a. when he said "what a beautiful bidah" mean that this is a bidah in terminological sence or in linguistic sence? Is this what Umar did really a innovation? We all know why Rasul, s.a.w.s., didn't pray the 4th night Taraweeh with the people. So this is a clear subha. Look what the schollars said about this hadith. Like Ibn Kathir, Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Rajab etc. You should have known that term bidah has a linguistic and terminological meaning

  • @envious123 "tarawi prayers in congregation (jamaat), whereas it used to be prayed individually at the time of the holy prophet mohammed (saw)" This is not true. People prayed 2gether Tarawi prayers in the time of MUhammad, s.a.w.s., and not just that - Prophet, s.a.w.s., led the tarawi prayers. But he didn't pray the 4th prayer, cus he feared that Allah will make it a fard prayer. This hadith is reported by Aisha in Bukhari and Muslim.

  • @truthofislam when theprophet saw said Every bidah isdalal The word every used in the hadith in arabic is kuloo the same kuloo is used in another hadith which was reported by Abu Dawud and AtTirimidi prophetsaw said 'every eye is liable to commit adultery, (the hadith continues )same word kuloo is used now do we believe the eyes of the prophets did this NO because we know they are protected from sin and the hadith does not mean this.the bidah that contradicts quran or sunnah that bidah is haram

  • @envious123 Come on this is a clear shubuhat that you are passing. When Allah s.w.t. says That every sould should taste death, he uses the word kuloo... Are you now going to say that not every soul should taste death?? This is your own interpretation and not the interpretation of the schollars of ahlus-sunnah wal Jammah. Like I said. Then I can be a sufi (a Whirling Darwish) and I can spin around like crazy and say that this is a good innovation cus I am praising Allah.

  • @envious123 If you knew anything about aqidah, you will know that 2 conditions have to be fulfilled for a deed (or ibadah) to be accepted by Allah, s.w.t.:

    1. is ikhas - that the deed has to be exclusively for Allah s.w.t.

and 2. correctness - that the deed has to be according to the Qur'an and Sunnah (and not in CONRADICTION to Qur'an and sunnah).

If you don't have the 1st one, you are comitting shirk.

If you don't have the second one, you are making a bidaah.

  • Subhanallah, the general rule regarding Bid^ah is: What complies with the Qur'an, the Sunnah, the Ijma^ (scholarly consensus), and the sayings and practices of the Companions is an innovation of guidance, and what CONTRADICTS the Qur'an, the Sunnah, the Ijma^, and the sayings and actions of the Companions is an innovation of MISGUIDANCE.

Therefore, there are two types of Bid^ah. This was mentioned by many knowledgeable and turstworthy scholars of Islam. Among them are: Imam ash-Shafi^iyy...

  • @SomaliMuslimah28 So you are saying that Mawleed is not an innovation?

Tink about what you just said. Mawleed contradicts the Qur'an and the Sunnah and THE PRACTISE OF THE SAHABAH... ANd the terminology of bidaah is: Every action introduced in the religion which was not practised by the salaf. And so it contradicts, cus this WAS NOT the practise of the SALAF!

  • @TRUTHOFISLAM

I did not say the Mawlid was not an innovation. I only mentioned the general rule regarding bid^ah.

The celebration of the Birth of the Prophet, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, is something PRAISED in the religion. It is a bid^ah but it is classified as bid^ah hasanah. There is a CONSENSUS among the Muslims on the validity of this celebration.

SURELY the Muslims have not agreed on the permissibility of an act that goes against the Qur'an, Sunnah, and Ijma^. This is impossible.

  • @TRUTHOFISLAM

It stands tall and clear that celebrating the Mawlid of the Prophet is a good innovation. There are no grounds whatsoever for one to denounce this practice. Rather, it is worthy of being classified as a good innovation because it is included in the hadith of the Prophet related by Muslim...

  • @SomaliMuslimah28

There is no "good innovation" in Islam. Listen to yourself what you just said. How can there be a good innovation, when Rasul s.a.w.s. said that EVERY bidah is dalal? Then I can do that what saikh Bilal said in his video. I can invent my own practise, my own salah etc.

"There is a CONSENSUS among the Muslims on the validity of this celebration." This is a lie. Almost every schollar says that this is a clear innovation and that's haram to practise.

  • @SomaliMuslimah28 That's why, my dear, ibadah has a clear definition if we are talking about being accepted from Allah; 1) It had to be done exclusive for Allah s.w.t. and 2) It has to be done acording to the SUNNAH of the Prophet.

  • calm down najdi

  • brother bilal cleared up the confusion.

  • Jazaaka'llah brother...

  • mashallah

  • is this slovenian ?!

  • yes :-)

  • I understood about half of that Slovenian in the subtitle lol. Im Bosnian, so it's a bit similar...
