  • The greatest! Some say sugar ray robinson but my only issue with that is when robinson faught there were no weight classes(he was bigger than his apponents)

  • El mejor de la historia!!! :D

  • Simply the greatest of all time! I wish I was 20 years older just to see him display his talent in the ring. My idol

  • DAM!!!!!

  • must be the best ever, won more world title fights than anyone else and longest winning streak ever, destroyed haugen who beat camacho ,bashed rosario ,ruined taylor an olympic gold medal the most gifted boxer of his era, slaughtered camacho who beat alot of good people,he has to be the best based on competition faced ,ko ratio, granite chin, most defences longest ever winning streak,im big on the greats but really cant see who compares , not even his no.1 fan ,loved duran but his record noas good

  • @chromeheart65 Love chavez, but i belive Duran had better opposition when he fought.

Both are though my favourite fighters.

  • @connymat who did duran beat that was great he lost to hearns via knock out beat leonard 1 time and lost the other 2 who the fuck did he beat and his record is worse than chavez and chavez holds records that will never be beat longest undefeated streak longest and most title defenses without a loss, 11years with 5 to 6 fights a year without losing and was lb for lb king

  • @bluekr2n I dont know, Ken buchanan, Esteben de jesus. He lost once in his first 12 years of fighting in his own weightclass and beat him in the rematch..Beat Leonard as a welterweight. Winning title as a midlleweight. But that doesnt really matter, records plays to much part of how we rate fighters today.

  • @connymat yea those guys you named are nobodies and he lost to hagler, chavez was invincible in his prime duran wasnt and duran quit in his prime chavez didnt

  • @bluekr2n Wow.. no comments,

  • every time i see this video i tear up

  • wow what a incridible man i he made me fall in love with boxing

  • DELA HOYA WAS A PUSSY FOR FIGHTING THE LEGEND N TOOK PRIDE IN GIVING HIM THE FIRST L ,,

  • @eggaroso Well i belive that the people wanted that fight aswell, Julio was fading at the time and the fight was a missmatch almost. Dela hoya probobly was at his best at the time.

  • He

  • Until je lost vs de la hoya

  • This Man was 90-0 until he lost!! Tell me when the fuck do you see anyone at that level..

  • @xpect420 Sugar Ray Robinson was 128-1 at his prime, you tell me who is better than that?

  • @7Know7Thy7Enemy7 actually he was 40 and 0 then lost.

  • @7Know7Thy7Enemy7 Sugar ray Robinson is the best of all time no denying that and I'm Mex but JCC should be top 5 easy

  • TRUE BADASS

  • i would of loved for him to beat de la hoya but sadly, he was already past his wonderfull career, but he still is to me the best boxer ever to be mexican, viva mexico!

  • Greatest of all time!!!!

I remember my dad taking me when I was alittle kid, to watch him

  • @sandocesar18 Floyd Mayweather Jr. is better then Chavez.

  • @jason60152 Until Floyd gets over 60 wins you can say that bud

  • No Doubt one of the Greatest Boxers Of All Time.

  • @canahuala87 Oscar De La Hoya is better then Chavez.

  • Chavez should be in jail for animal abuse for beating the shit out those ugly ass monkeys feel sorry for them even more when they make excuses LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dont hate on the video ..just apreciate this great fighter ...

  • lmfao why doesnt he talk about Whitaker

  • @braueryo Lmfao hahah when he was old rite???Why dosnt mayweather talk about castillo?oh thats rite cuz he got his ass beat

  • @AceOfSpadez412 he wasnt old... lol

Whitaker got robbed clear. Castillo beat Mayweather in their first fight closely, but they gave the decision to Mayweather. Mayweather beat Castillo on a rematch. Chavez never gave Whitaker a rematch.

  • @braueryo Theres somthing called PRIME...

Chavez wasnt in his prime. And omg whitaker sucks. All he does is stick and move, trying to make points. He suckssss

  • @AceOfSpadez412 he was on the later parts of his prime. Whitaker sucks? If you can not enjoy a master of the sweet science then you should find another sport. Boxing is about hitting and not being hit, and he is one of the best of all time at it. Hence why he totally dominated JCC.

  • @braueryo Hhhahaha Please man,Chavez is 10x better than whitaker.

And no to me BOXING Is 2 men going in there to trade shots and win.

We mexicans stop punches with are face,But we stop fighters with are heart and balls

  • @AceOfSpadez412 lol you just proved you don't know shit about boxing. Not all mexicans fight like that. Example? JMM is an example. Post what you just posted in a boxing forum where people know boxing unlike you. Everyone wil laugh at you.

  • @braueryo I know more about boxing than you will ever know bitch...I said to me thats boxing,

And marquez aint no damn counter puncher,Idk why people say he is.Every fight hes in its a war,He fires back with amazing combo's....Now mayweather.Thats a counter puncher. He never fights,Cuz hes a pussy

  • @AceOfSpadez412 lmao ok. you know more about boxing than me. Julio Cesar Chavez is the P4P best boxer of all time. lol... you happy?

  • @AceOfSpadez412 Marquez is a counter puncher, he just loves a war. Still primarily a counter puncher

  • @braueryo "Hitting and not getting hit" is basic to boxing, but ask yourself "what makes a fighter?" Boxing is designed to be lethal, designed to test lethally the male will of both fighters, designed to see who's boss, who will stake out and control the "magic territory of a squared piece of enchanted canvas". Being able to box pretty AND be lethal is the magic that drives the world wild and bore's LEGENDS. Such a one as JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ. Whitaker=CHEAP-SHOT OPPORTUNIST DIRTY ASS CLOWN.

  • Man, take this bunk ass posting down!... this sorry ass, melancholy, unartisitic montage of completely biased footage of JC Chavez is an abomination of what this man really was and what he achieved. We're talking about one of this century's greatest athletes! Frankly, its a travesty that you would invest time in making such a biased and unpallattable clip, you should be ashamed of yourself for misrepresenting such a great man, fighter, father, champion, legend... J C Chavez, WE LOVE YOU!

  • @TheDeviousMuzik I agree with you that Chavez is a great man, fighter, champion, legend, and a great sportsman as well. You don't see too many fighters, not only fighters, but athletes in general, who love and respect their fans as much as Chavez does. Chavez gets it. Other athletes would be wise to follow his example. You also touched on something that is overlooked in the U.S., Julio Cesar Chavez is one of the greatest ATHLETES of all-time. The 20-25 yr old Chavez was a freak.

  • J.C. Chavez was a brain ninja!

  • wow que chingon ,

  • great video ..... masterpiece!!

  • most of u cant understand cause u a spectator in the crowd...i take my hat of to chavez or any fighter cause behind those gloves its a reason...blood sweat and tears...fwm

  • around too much! Much respect and love to to the greats for every drop of blood they spilled!

    xx

  • Fools, none of you have ever done this prob, yet u comment on a mans lifa and career, ad like to see u real mean step in the ring, why dont i hear of any of you r oh wait we have cowards here, walk a mile in their shoes before you comment. why dnt i hear of any of yours and prob never will legacys! age beats all the greats in the end, Rjj in his true prime was UNBEATABLE same with Chavez and a few others, every dog has his day. all the guys on top get beat by the guys on the way up if u stik

  • @showtimescott I agree with everything you stated here except I have a different opinion on RJJ.You can't call a man "unbeatable" in his prime when he didnt fight the best fighters of his era and ducked all the top contenders.Look, we had one of the most exciting middleweight-super middleweight divisions in years when he was champion with Julian Jackson,Gerald McClellen,Chris Eubank,Nigel Benn,Steve Collins,Tom Watson,Frankie Liles,John Scully,Tim Littles.Jones ducked them ALL. How convenient.

  • @showtimescott Annoys the fuck out of me too man, people dont understand how hard the game is, it looks simple on tv but the training, sacrafice and dedication asked of you as a boxer is more than is really reasonable, the amount of struggle they go through to get to the top and people still find a reason to hate, its horrible.

  • he will always be the champ no matter what....just a true legend.......

  • Look at Julio C . Chavez early years, he was unbeatable and such a great fighter like Salvador Sanchez. But .. we all meet our greatest challenge - aging is our final round and destiny! Ali, Muhammad went through the same experience like all other boxers. After 35, it gets more tougher after years and years of wear and tear! Boxing is the most hardest training anyone will ever encounter!

  • guys chavez would have beaten all of these but he didnt get younger he got old and got weaker so of course he lost but i would bet anything in the world that he could beat all the six people if he was still young i mean 90 fights won in a row learn from the best fellas

  • yea but look at taylor now, hes got brain damage and has never been the same after the fight while chavez is fine, Chavez won for sure

  • @gomezkenneth92 no way man the guy lost his life basicaly in that ring, then they took the fight from him, if that was chavez winning, and he went down and there was 2 seconds left he would of won richard steel has done the same for other Don King fighters no wonder he fought on so much for so long.

  • Good thing he retired! and didnt get embarrassed like RJJR

  • @AztecaHaztaLaMuerte He DID get embarrassed, Against Costa Tsyou, and badly..

  • @TheBestBoxingGame Dude the Tsyou that knockout Zab Judah? that guy was good! he became a great Champion no shame in losing there! But Roy Jones Jr got K.O by green glen and by unkown Denis Lebedev

  • @AztecaHaztaLaMuerte Still he got embarrased because he fought out of his prime. A Lebedev type would have beaten him too.

  • @TheBestBoxingGame Nah, Zab got embarrassed! Chavez was TKO unlike Roy Jones he was laying in his back sleeping

  • @AztecaHaztaLaMuerte Zap just lost because of fluke punch. RJJ was embarrared true. JCC got embarrased to the max. HE was almost crying in the post fight inteview because of the sustained beating he had suffered.

  • "The Lion of Culiacan" ...

  • answer tis, if the fight went one more round, would taylor be alive i dont think so, he was one punch away from getting killed, chavez wasnt, chavez wins

  • What do you guys think about the boxing future of his son Chavez Jr?

  • @Thuqtastic520 He'll lose to when he steps up in class IMO. Kid is obviously talented tho.

  • todas sus peleas las perdio en el ocaso de su carrera, ¡¡ ninguna perdida en sus tiempos de juventud, era invencible !!!! CHAVEZ LEGEND FOREVER !!!!!

  • what a champion this video damm near made me cry a truly legend !!!

  • Da way he wud go to da body and da head in combos was a ting of beauty,ya hea me Rock?

  • @CEO1451 I'm not saying Chavez was the greatest fighter ever. He was one of them. What I'm saying is that in my opinion, I've never seen a more COMPLETE package than Julio Cesar Chavez. I agree with you that Sugar Ray Robinson was the greatest fighter ever. No doubt. Chavez was the most complete fighter IMO. Peace amigo. I agree with much of what you say, but I tend to score fights the other. That's what's great about this sport and to be a fan.

  • What a machine this guy was in his prime. We will probably never see another one like him.

  • Chavez ruined Rosario and Taylor. He took away Mayweather's heart and soul and shit on it. He retired LaPorte and Castillo(figuratively speaking) and gave Camacho a beating that nobody ever did.

  • @TheChoice264 Yes. This is true.

  • @CEO1451 I never said anything about Manny. I agree that you cant judge a fighter on early fights. Salvador Sanchez lost an early fight, most do. I also feel that you can't judge a fighter when he's old either. I've always maintained that when we compare fighters from different era's that the fighters should always be evaluated from a prime standpoint, and what they were able to do in their primes. I agree that NOBODY is gonna beat El Gran Campeon in his prime.

  • @CEO1451 No, I don't think Ledderman was the only one having Taylor winning the first 9 rounds. There's ALWAYS Jerry Roth that every Leonard type fighter demands to have him judging their fights because he always gives fights to those type of fighters. Many people felt Taylor was dominating Chavez, and I'm here to tell you these people are completely insane IMO. You have him winning the first 8 rounds for sure? What fight were you watching? Perhaps your perception is biased toward certain styles

  • @CEO1451 I agree, that Taylor was no bitch Leonard. Taylor fought a great, great fight, and nothing can be taken away from him for that. It shouldn't matter to him what the outcome that night was. If he truely felt he won in his heart he'd let it go. But, he acts like it still bothers him today. Taylor went toe to toe with basically a prime Chavez and was 2 seconds away, but in boxing you gotta be able to fight and defend yourself every second of every round.

  • @CEO1451 Hagler would agree with me, and I agree with you about that fight--Hagler won it. That's my point, these judges and the Jerry Roth's of the world need to learn what boxing truely is. All these old judges were influenced by Ali, and they want to believe they're seeing an Ali out there. They get all excited when they see a flash flurry. The problem with this is Ali didnt throw flash flurries. His punches were with bad intentions. Ali wanted to knock a man dead and put a hurtin on him.

  • @CEO1451 Its the same with the Paul Williams vs Lara fight a couple weeks ago. Williams threw a gang of punches throughout the bout but wasnt really landing anything, but boy it looks impressive(i guess, right?). Yet Lara was landing hard shot after hard shot and for once, Harold Ledderman saw the action of the fight instead of the motion and called it for Lara in a near shutout, as did everybody else who saw it. Guess who won? Mr.Flurry. This bullshit has got to stop.

  • @CEO1451 I was just watching the Rodriguez vs Wolak fight tonight and Wolak was throwing over 100 punches per round and was relentless, yet Rodriguez was landing hard clean shots at a much lower volume. Wolak looked like someone beat him with a baseball bat. Teddy Atlas said "Don't look at how many punches are being thrown, but look at what is landing!!! Look at was is landing hard and effective!!!". I concur.

  • @CEO1451 Those punches that Taylor did hit Chavez with, the ones that did land, were flurries with nothing on them but flash speed. Chavez hit Taylor with clean crisp shots using force. Quality trumps quantity everytime. Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intelligence, sophistication and skillful execution. It represents the wise choice of many alternatives. Chavez' punches were QUALITY, Taylors were quantity.

  • @CEO1451 Your opinion is that Taylor was ahead on points. My opinion, as was one of the judges at the fight, was that Chavez wouldve won on points. Taylor won the first 9 rounds, really? Gee willikers, ya think maybe you may be just a tad bit influenced by that professional and great commentary by HBO or Harold Ledderman? Do yourself a favor and watch that entire fight in slow motion and watch how many of those punches actually landed on Chavez. Prepare to be shocked.

  • Better than Marciano ?

  • Better than Marciano ?

  • @CEO1451 man, you know Taylor was completely destroyed, you may have gave him that fight, but everybody would have known he was defeated in his heart

  • I was literally screaming my lungs out when he was beating up Roger Mayweather. After all the disrespect Mayweather had shown Mexican boxing fans & fighters for years, it was the most enjoyable outcome of a fight, ever, IMO.

  • this man changed boxing forever ill do anything to see a fighter like this fighters couldnt see the end when they fought this guy but the taylor knockout is controversial but still look at ow he left him after that chavez's punch were like trains hitting you and he would make fighter sit on their ass this was a legend hes made boxing come alive but know fighters like mayweather are taking the manliness out of this sport but i hope canelo will not dissapoint the latino community

  • 4:30 why is he beating up richard pryor?

  • dont you ever... DELETE THIS AWESOME VIDEO FROM YOUTUBE... THANKS

  • what a great champion...

  • Some fighters got the best of him and others the last of him thats the way the sport is He still is my hero I want to grow up to be one of the best like him

  • @CEO1451 waw, the sound of the defeat :(

so, its problem of Chavez that taylor was so stupid that he DIDNT ANSWER???

then, if HE KNEW...WHY HE DIDNT ANSWER?? EVERY BOXER know that when you got KD, you have to get up before the 8 count and give te ref some sign that ou are OK, and TAYLOR DIDNT DO ANITHING..

I suppose that you dont know what a TKO is, cuz taylor CANT CONTINUE...

Really, learn some boxing, or at least learn what a TKo is

    peace little kid..

  • @CEO1451 but he didnt win and he didnt win the rematch and now hes a brain dead bum because of julio cesar chavez, that title wasnt worth his fractured face broken ribs pissed blood for 2weeks and a speech impediment

  • fucking epic

  • @CEO1451 You think because he got up, that it means he was okay? Are you kidding? You're not too familiar with the Fight world are ya kid? Taylor endured a 12 round beating and got KO'd at the end. Simply getting to your feet doesn't cut it kiddo. It also doesn't help to put your arms around the ropes and not let go, nor does it help to allow yourself to be "distracted" nor does it help not remembering the count or questions in the post fight interview.LOL Go away.

  • Hermano, 2 years later this video does not seize to amaze me...When will we see another one?

  • What about Salvador Sanchez???

  • your fucking stupid if you think chavez is overated

  • Simply put he "IS" "WAS" and "WILL" forever be the biggest legendary mexican boxing fighter to fight, and true to his character he never talk shit to other fighters, a humble fighter, and no one really can talk shit about the fights he fought over: 115 fights and he lost only 6 and 2 draws wow now that's legendary stats right there.

  • @zucr85 Right, but there will always be some dipshit who knows nothing about what it takes to be a fighter and who knows nothing about boxing who will say negative shit. That's life. Us winners need those negative asshole losers to laugh at and motivate us and to make us realize how great we are by seeing how pathetic they are. Winners and losers. Positive and negative. Fuck 'em. Chavez today,Chavez tomorrow,Chavez 4 life! A great champion. Thanks for raising the bar Julio!!! Long live the legend

  • @TheChoice264 MUYYY BUEN COMENTARIO!!!

  • @CEO1451 he knew?? then WHY HE DIDNT ANSWER STEELES QUESTION?? even steele ask him TWICE if he can continue, and he simply was KFO, he COULDNT answer.

You probably never boxed, you dont know how your body react when you are KO, you cant see, you cant hear anithing, you are simply a bad loser that dont know what is a TKO...its ok.

  • like father like son they both overated!

  • Comment removed

  • @fliptopsbattle funny, a philipine saying that the great Chavez is overrated when you probably support one of the biggest frauds on boxing history: manny pacroids.

  • @Aragorn522 roids my ass lol! do you have a proof? He has never tested positive for using any illegal substance! unlike chavez the "bum' jr. tested positive for using Diuretics and margacheato the "concrete wraps".. mexicunt boxers are the real cheater lol!
