Top comment here is (I think) a bit of a mislabel actually. What Braenshild82 meant was that this is the best "groove" ever as there really isn't much in the way of bass "line" here. In this one the bass is just punctuating the harmonic center. It is a killer groove though no doubt.
For a great bassline think of something like Chic's "Good Times."
This is definitely GROWN UP music....Look...todays R&B is okay...music to dance and do "other" things is always welcome...to a decent beat and voice to go along with it that is....BUT DAMN...My womans much more than that to me...
