And a lot of plastics are petroleum based and we all should know that oil is a dwindling resource. Last time I checked, the Earth had a pretty decent supply of sand.

I love the DEVO hat! On the serious side, I have commercially fished, deckhanded sportfishers, and spent time on all kinds of boats in fresh and salt water. I will never understand how people who make a living on, have fun on, and profess to love the water continuosly through their unwanted debris into the water and abuse aquatic lifeforms. I am gratified when I meet people who truly understand what it is to "love the water". I hope we all can make a difference.
