I think he did well for the camera he was given. I may not agree with how he did his PP, but at least he got some pretty cool shots. Kind of helps to remember that he's more of a journalist than a visual artist, totally different reasons for shooting, totally different methods.

in which way were those shots interesting? the composition, the colours.. none of those impressed me. not to mention the post processing was terrifying. dunno, this proves to me that "pro photographers" tend to forget about the BASICS of photography and rely on their bloody expensive equipment only. of course, not all of them - by no means I want to say that - but.. sometimes, you should just get back to the start, grab a compact and actually TRY. to remember and to learn.

We want the LEGO camera next - not just another cheapie compact - frankly this choice was a cop out - got problems with LEGO's lawyers?

As for the photographer - brave !

Oh and don't forget the use of a black diffuser and a silver reflector - always helps to have a 3 man team on the job....must remember that when I take my compact camera to the beach....
