I played Rock Band on the Rock Band Tour that came to Boston.

I got 98% Expert on Say It Ain't So. It was my first time playing Rock Band. But I've been playing Guitar Hero for 8 months. It's similiar in play style no doubt.

How could you sing and play guitar simultaneously. From what I've seen, when it gets to a part of a particular song you have to hit the mic, i.e no singing, how can you do that if your in the middle of a solo?

Nobody has three arms to do this. So unless they place it on the ground and tap it with their foot I can't see how its possible. Nice idea, but there has to be an option to turn off the hitting mic part of the songs to play both mic and guitar at the same time.

That is definitly the closet MANY people will ever get to being a real rock star. Now just add some practice and dancing and crazy guitar moves and you'll have a recipe for a concert from which to cheat money out of your friends. One question. Will the final game have the option to turn off the original vocals, so you hear only your voice?

You can adjust the mic sensitivity. If you watch some of the other I posted you will hear the people singing. We had some that were over th etop loud on the mic, so we had to dial it back a bit.

thanks, I was wonderin, cause I already know most of these songs by heart, and would like to get to know my own voice a little. Well....that, and it seems more like an actual band if you'r actually singing, though it may be less entertaining for the fans!

No offense, but it's not so different from Guitar Hero that they would suck that bad. I know a few kids that play on expert with GH games and they've played RB at the tours going on. They said it took a song or two to get use to but they played on expert after that.

No offense taken. Glad they are so good. Put em on a stage in front of 100 of their coworkers, never having played before and put a wig on them under really bright lights and see how they do. Thanks for the comments.

Actually, the ones 18 and over played in front of 100+ strangers on college campuses on a stage with light effects and such. That's what the tour is, you go to the truck, play a bit and then if you want to you can go on stage and perform for the kids on the campus.

Quite different from Guitar hero. Not released yet,. We made them play on easy to keep it fair for everyone, sometimes easy is hard, when you try to pay attention
