Jim, Keith an Whitney are obnoxious twits. All that happened to them was what they did to Elyse. It's Karma. Upolu played better than them. Jim could have been a great player, but he blew it. Yes, he was very bitter when Cochran flipped, but that just shows that he was passionate about the game. Keith and Whitney pretty much treat Cochran the same as they did before the flip. Jim wasn't as much as a super fan as Cochran, but he loved the game and was heartbroken to be voted off. I think the only 2 people that are all star worthy on this season is Cochran and Jim

@SaveTheBestForU I neer saw Jim this way until I saw your comment, but Jim should treat as he wishes to be treated. If he only treated Cochran with respect instead of trying to fit in with the "strong", Cochran may not have flipped and he should've stood up to Kieth when he told Cochran that he needed to prove himself in the duel with Christine after Ozzy chose to leave. That would have been a great social move on Jim's part.

If Cochran didn't flip and the votes tied and went to Purple Rocks, then anything could of happened. Cochran has been a long time fan, and he wasn't going to put his fate in the game he loves go to chance. Also, if a Savaii went out by luck, then Cochran would have STILL got 7th, as Upolu would see him as the weakest and make him last to go.

In my opinion, the game of Survivor should NOT be down to luck.

Cochran annoyed me to no end. He whines about being "bullied" by Savaii when they merely criticized his challenge ability. He costed them challenges. But they never said anything bad about him personally until he sold them all out just out of spite.

Upolu was so fake in coaxing Cochran into their ridiculous "family" of delusional liars. I can't believe he swallowed all that nonsence. I do not feel sorry for him at all.

@itsKels757 The only problem is, is that Savaii isn't taking any responsibilty for what happened. They're being childish and blaming everything on Cochran yet they fail to see how it was their fault. They let Cochran know he was on the bottom of their tribe, instead of making him feel like a part of their tribe and making him feel like he had a legit final 3 deal with them. Boston Rob played a great game by doing this, Savaii played a horrible strategic and social game and deserve their fate.

It's funny that Cochran becomes a bad guy when he screws people over, but when Russell Hantz did it he was all of a sudden the best thing that happened to the game. In hindsight a dumb move by Cochran but it's pointless being bitter about it, there was no guarantee that any of those Savaii members were gonna win the million. I mean, people thought Matt would win the million in The Amazon but he got beat 6-1 by Jenna. Ozzy may still make it to end and win so that's a positive for Savaii

@oriizhaki There's a difference between a risky move and a stupid move. Brandon made a stupid move by giving up immunity, Coach would have made a very stupid move if he'd taken Ozzy to the end. Cochran took a risk of being able to work his way up in the Upolu Alliance when he flipped because the people on Savaii made it clear he was on the bottom after the Jack and Jill challenge. His risk didn't pay off because Rick, Edna, and Brandon didn't not know they were at the bottom.

Also, Cochran flipping itself wasn't a bad move....but the lack of follow up plans was. Clearly some members of Upolu wanted to change the game up and Edna was quick to shake things up once she figured out she was at the bottom of the alliance. Cochran needed to find these cracks in the tribe and exploit them in order to make good use of his move. Instead he tried being Coach's little buddy and ended up wasting his time. THAT was dumb.

Anyone defending the bitter Savaii babies...aside from Ozzy and Dawn, NONE of them played a completely honest and loyal game. Jim claims he hates associating himself with cowards and yet he went behind Ozzy's back by voting out his ally out of FEAR that Ozzy would turn on him. Keith and Whitney took the cowards way out and didn't choose side when the time came.

Say what you will about Cochran, but only Dawn and Ozzy deserve defending when it comes to Savaii being bitter.

i don't normally watch that one, but did this time. i also thought he wasn't really bullied until i saw that - they really singled him out from day one and treated him like shit.

Everyone made it clear they wanted him out. It was just a result of the other player's game. Jim wanted Elyse out because he was concerned with Ozzy's control. Ozzy went to redemption instead of Cochran so that he could be the guy that made the big move. Never in Savaii history was there any intention to help Cochran.

@neoneogod If what you say is true, then it seems like it's completely Savaii's fault for the outcome. Cochran no doubt did ruin the challenges for them yet THEY kept him around. On top of that the rest of Savaii made their hatred for his weakness known, thus Isolating him. Even if you have a weak member, you don't call them weak, that's a poor social game. Cochran knew he was at the bottom of Savaii and had no hope with them because of Savaii's poor social/strategic game.

If they wanted Cochran to stick around after the merge they should of made a legit final 3 deal with him. But no one could even bring themselves to play the game enough to do this. Savaii deserved their fate. Cochran took a risk in the game of survivor, if that shocks you then I'm not sure why you're watching survivor in the first place.
