I was stationed at the 6931st in 1964-65; almost the greatest time of my life. Some of my friends were basketball teammates on Baker Company...Ed Haverstock and Charlie Hensley; we were base champs the winter of '64...I just loved to play all of the squadrons, but beating Able Co. was always the best. Also friends like Rick Pierson [Bay City, MI], Harry David Ready [from PA], and Dave Smith [Niles, MI].
Jeff Wonder, Greenwood, Indiana [now retired, but I loved my Air Force experience]]
I was there 1960-1962. If the photo was clearer, I wonder if I'd see myself on the beach. I spent a lot of time on that beach in the summers of 61 and 62.
I was there from 1962 until my daughter died and we went back to Texas. I was surprised to see all those shots in the compound. I thought my boss and I were the only ones allowed to carry a camera into the compound.
Sure brings back many memories from 1964 and '65. Not much left there now. My daughter was there just a few days ago and said there is not much left anymore. Thanks again for the memories. Makes this old "ditty bopper" smile.

Thanks for sharing. I worked at the bowling alley from 1969 to 1994 and it brought me back a lot of pleasant memories from those days...
