my friend, if I sat at your bar and watched you make that "Cuba Libre" for me, Id instandly get up and leave. the ratio of coke and rum aside (since its a matter of taste) at least three quarters of this is ice, if you use that much, at least fill up the coke to the top. second thing: you can stir the rum and ice first, but one doesnt have to, so thats fairly acceptably. but where it really got me was the missing lime(-juice). you made a rum cola with a slice of lemon...

This poor guy seems to be doing his very best but anyone who tasted this drink would be sorely dissappointed... I am certainly no bartender but I do love Cuba Libre´s and what gives it it´s distinctive and delicious taste is really the Juice of the LIME fruit. A lot of people look down on the C.L. but properly mixed, it is one of the best cocktails in the world! Just learn how to make it properly.

Thats a rom and coke, and with añejo blanco it taste foul. Need better rom, Añejo Especial according to havana club. And the one thing that seperate rom and coke from cuba libre is missing..lime juice.
