alright first, snapping turtles are like any other water while there actually in the water. I was swimming in a pond and saw one right by my feet and all it did was just slip away. they only bite under water if they think that something is food. second, they only bite because they aer scared when pulled out of the water. this one wasnt pulled out of the water. it chose to come out. it felt comfortable, and is not alert or defencive .
@redearedslider1 they said they were gonna put there hands in tha water ok get ur shit straight maybe u should read it if they put there hands in its gonna get bit duhhh do u have down syndrome im worried bout u
amazing, for its size and its willingness to explorer. Most turtles ive seen swim off and want nothing to do with people. but this turtle walked right up to the camera. Great video.
i would have gave that turtle food he looked hungry , i think mostly all turtles are cute even ones who try to kill us , if there are any who acually do :P
This is an Equadorian Common Snapping Turtle. The scientific name of this species is (Chelydra Serpentina Acutirostris). Their range stretches from Northern Honduras, Eastern Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Pacific Colombia, Equador, and through the south to the Gulf of Guayaquil. These turtles are opportunistic hunters, and will not hesitate on eat anything that moves, including other turtles as well.
@jerumd dude thats sum wicked information can u tell me what species my snapper is, i cant post a vid yet im in europe on vacation clearly im from america and i might purchase a mata mata turtle i luv predatory turtles =)
@superbadkneegrow I love predatory turtles too. I have two future mating pairs of North American Common Snapping turtles. And two future mating pairs of Alligator Snapping Turtles. I had them for 3 years now, and the Common snapping turtles seemed to be growing faster than their Alligator Snapping Turtle counter parts. Sure i help you identify your turtle. If only if you post your vid, or pic in order for me to see for identification.

When a turtle comes out of the water for food, you feed it! Stupid humans and their foodlessness.
