If you're going to direct it yourself, you can add as much or as little detail as you like!

I am a self-published author, and in addition to keep on writing books, I'd like to someday also be a screenwriter and film director. I cant imagine writing a script and not being able to direct it! I am working on a screenplay right now, but Im not sure how much "detail" to add...any advice?
