  • Best scene!

  • Nope. The guy doesn't lift his hands up in the clip like the guy does in the movie. This was probably based off the clip. Just a guess, though.

  • ohhh I knew it was from a movie.

  • what is the movie?

  • @ADAMSLaMaravilla111 Never Back Down

  • I always say capoeira is very stylish and beautiful, however there are lot of moves that put the fighter in a very dangerous position.

  • @choudjist That may be so but would you really attempt to abuse an opening like that, with legs flying around at full speed?

  • very lolling

  • Lol failblog copied this

  • what is the songs name?

  • @kikecaza01 The Slam, By Toby Mac

  • Basically any martial art is like a weapon or tool, you have to learn how to use it in order to be the master of that weapon. The guy that got punched in this video did the exact opposite

  • oh... so it is from a movie.

    i am disappoint :(

  • é filme isto seus buros

  • @killedGeorgeshrink

SERIOUSLY? FAIL BLOG is a fail blog itself man,,,

this is from a movie, Never Back Down, & its call acting. why do you need hidden cams to record a movie?

  • @BFF305 -- Fairy tails , Who did he beat ?. Where you there .Bullshit story's to make the so called master look like he's a great fighter .Every style has them .My master did this ,My master did that. 99% fabricated bullshit!.

  • @BFF305 bullshit

  • just a movie...capoeira the best!

  • like this it is certain to be from a movie. but in the others its not that easy to recognise

  • what kind of tool would think a film clip with slow motion and flashy editing was from a real fight?

  • @TheDenizen because on failblog they have this exact scene but it looks like its filmed witha camera phone.

  • @JimmytheTexan1441

    ahhhhhhhh, makes sense.

  • @BFF305 The world will always downplay anything African. If this style would of been made by a Asian then it would get tons more respect.

  • @CostlyChris actually this is neither African nor completely Brazilian; it's a mix of both influences and was born in Brazil. :)

  • @BFF305 Also, just pointing out, Capoeira was so deadly that it was actually banned and deemed illegal because gangs were using knives and attacking bankers and business owners for money. Zoom zoom!!

  • @meshinka yeah, just learned that "Zum zum zum Capoeira mata um" was about killing people. It's banned at my studio though; we don't associate with the crimes in capoeira.

  • LOL its movie to Film !!! good film

  • that's not capoeira, i don't see a minimun ginga, I don't see martelos, negativas, etc...

Those tricks can be done by anyone with skills, not only by capoeirista

  • this nigger is amazing with his monkey moves

  • Sadly, because of this clip, all the basement dwellers, and e-thugers around the globe will think capoeira is shait. And belittle the many amazing athletes that practice this art.

    #Joke#

Eddy and Christy are both OP in Tekken, and there is a reason for it!

  • @J4gm i second that

  • ..thats what i call.... owned

  • man, the mma really knows how to make martial art styles look like crap.

  • bull. no capoeirista would ever bum rush an opponent like that. and none of those moves were done correctly. poop on hollywood

  • eddy guerero?

  • @zcxvasdfqwer1234 tekken lol

  • i thought that movie would suck but its actually pretty cool, and this scene is funny as hell ahhaha

  • nice clarifying vid, i saw it on fail blog and wanted to find out if it was true, id love to flip in the air like that

  • @OtakuCapoerist your spelled capoeirista wrong in your username.

  • @jayforehead That is my instructor, Formado Scooby-doo. His real name is Craig Ellis Raboteau.

And no he is not fake. in a real fight he doesn't go all fancy. He just uses basic capoeira and pwns. And plus he is crippled. Be crippled and do that.

  • Think about it guys, the momentum from the capoeira fighter plus the punch from the blond guy added together to strengthen the punch. If the Capoeira fighter hadnt of been moving, he would have been able to shrub that punch of in a second.

  • @CaolanM07 That is my instructor, Formado Scooby-doo. His real name is Craig Ellis Raboteau.

And no he is not fake. in a real fight he doesn't go all fancy. He just uses basic capoeira and pwns. And plus he is crippled. Be crippled and do that.

  • That has no relevance to what I said, I was simply stating why the force of the blond guys punch was so powerful.

  • @CaolanM07 not really. punches like that in truth have little power. I've been hit with them and ya, not a lot of power.

  • I know... thats why I was pointing out how the capoeira fighters momentum contributed to the force of the punch... You dont read good, do you?

  • You are retarded.

  • aguante "BESOURO"

  • Not fake. If you watch the videos the description is refering to you'll see that he actually did all the moves seen here plus the knock-out in the same take

  • fucking give me a break that capoeira dude wold have eaten the tyni blondie guy

  • @johnn1111111 That is my instructor, Formado Scooby-doo. His real name is Craig Ellis Raboteau. In a real fight he doesn't go all fancy. He just uses basic capoeira and pwns. And plus he is crippled. Be crippled and do that.

  • @johnn1111111 Yeah I believe that too, if he wasn't showin' off.

  • @johnn1111111 Yeah I believe that too, if he wasn't showin' off. lol Now he playes Eddie in the Tekken movie, which IDK where the hell is.

  • Lmao at the scawny 160 pounders...LhW and HW is where the action is at!!

  • Yes! Let's take this scene back for what it is...bullshit.

  • of course. typical american bullshit tough as nuts Rambo like character that wouldn't pull that in real life, so they have to add some idiot making a fool out of himself, knowing that he wouldn't do that for real making Rambo look hardcore.

  • @epics7 That is my instructor, Formado Scooby-doo of Capoeira Brazilian Pelourinho under Mestre Lazaro. His real name is Craig Ellis Raboteau.

In a real fight he doesn't go all fancy. He just uses basic capoeira and pwns. And plus he is crippled. Be crippled and do that.

  • @Toneai2007 lol

  • hahahahaaahah nigga got laid out im a capo practioner and ill tell u he was stupid for going in with a flip 100% and if u guys wanna see how real maesters get down watch the fight with lateff crawder in the protector now that nigga knows his shit

  • @gilgameshida That is my instructor, Formado Scooby-doo of Capoeira Brazilian Pelourinho under Mestre Lazaro. His real name is Craig Ellis Raboteau.

In a real fight he doesn't go all fancy. He just uses basic capoeira and pwns. And plus he is crippled. Be crippled and do that. And I doubt a wannabe like yourself knows real capoeira considering you didn't even call yourself a capoeirista. Noob.

  • DAMN!

  • what is the song in the background?

  • Dude, capoeira is not showy like they put it here... If a capoeirista got knocked out like that, he/she would die of shame because they watch for trickery and how they are open to attack... at least, if capoeira Angola anyways. This movie is sucks for that reason alone :(

  • well were never ganna fight anderson silva or chuck lidell on the street cuz most thai fighter respect what they do and to take advantage of what they have learned

  • dude he is right, no smart fighter is gonna go in a ring and use capoeira, not in a serious fight agaisnt an experienced fighter, i mean it just consumes wayyyyy to much juice, after 3 minutes you wont have any energie left to do anything, its just not smart to jump and flip and turn your back on the opponent for no reason, some might do a few moves, like silva agaisnt patrick cote he was dominating and did a few ginga steps to confuse him and rushed him and hit him cause hes god lol

  • u wouldnt actually use ginga in a real fight, u would use the kicks and techniques u learnt in capoeira.. not do every movement u would do in a roda. capoeira is good in a fight if u use it straight to the point.

  • yes of course you wouldnt but a lot of capoeira movements will leave you open and consume wayyyy to much energie, its just not efficient enough in a ring agaisnt someone who knows what hes doing, yes of course in the street you can knock people out, you can knock almost everybody out in the streets 70% of people dont know how to take a hit or even punch properly

  • guess so, still capoeira is FUN! haha

  • oh dude on that no one can argue i did a little bit of capoeira for about a year and its lots of fun, never did anything like that, if you want to have a good time and keep a very fit body, capoeira is the way to go

  • haha yeah defo!

  • @Loewenthal1 Correct, most of the moves are called "style moves" and are just to entice and attract new students.

  • Capoeira has the game, fancy jumpy stuff, but there is fight stuff. No, it's not the kick-ass-est MA ever, but it's not useless by definition AND it does not need to be sprinkled with useless jumps & handstands from games & demos to be capoeira. Actually, capoeira regional is originally a "MMAified" version of capoeira d'Angola, not supposed to be "tradidional" & dumbly rigid, kinda "kung fu, break dance from hell style", but loose and adaptable. Varies a lot from where u learn too.

  • oh yeah i agree 100%, you can still be very dangerous with capoeira but its not as effective when you might have to fight for 25 minutes and in close combat especially when you might be clinched

  • Yes, capoeria is good. But Kung Fu is good too. It does not need "fancy flying jumps and flips" to make it a practical martial art either.

  • gotta remember though, capoeira is the art of fight dance, partly martial arts, part dance.

  • @DJFistOfCurry its not about the art , its about the fighter using the art

  • @steven10462 Thanks for telling me something I already knew, my point was that Kung Fu is ALSO a practical martial art. I never demoted Capoeria in any way since I know all styles are great.

  • Capoeira survived so long because outsiders only see the "game" aspect. Closed quarter fighting with takedowns and knowledge of joints is capoeira too, but hollywood will never shown those parts because flips look cool.

  • oh yeah i agree 100% this clip is just ...hollywood, i mean this dude is flipping for no reason, im not talking about the flips, i mean the ginga is a verygood stance, keep your head moving and is great for unpredictability but its very very ahrd to keep that composed in lets say a mma fight, agaisnt a good wrestler youll be in trouble

  • @Pekeno201 not true. I have been practicing capoeira under Mestre Lazaro and Formado Scooby-doo(Scooby is the dude doing capoeira in the clip), and capoeira has a lot of takedowns and throws, and hand attacks ya'll have have no idea about. lol. Even my old sucky videos of me doing capoeira don't even show a 1/4 of what we do and such.

Plus I have also been a wrestler for 5 years. Capoeira and wrestling mixes very well for MMA.

  • are u dumb it not real watch it again

  • yea i no lol haha i watched it agian after the comment i posted and you can actually see the camera in the background

  • dude its from the movie never back down.

  • i no did you not just read my comment

  • oh snap! my bad

  • haha its kool

  • he didnt even execute the superman punch correctly. obviously this is a fake as hollywood movie. they know very little about the way it orginally is.

  • a capoiera fighter wouldn't do that at first...so fake...

  • THANK YOU!!

As a capoerista I feel offended people think its real when on the other video you clearly see the sky cams!!

    Bunch of dumbasses!

  • what is worse is when people say that the guys are different from in the movie.

  • LOL...the one filmed on the handy cam everyone thinks is real looks so much cooler. Lame ass Hollywood shit lol

  • by the way thanks for posting this clip kevindergeet

  • Wow thanks seriously, i got nothin for or against caporeira, but people diserve to know what's real and what's not. Seriously when you type in capoeira knock out you get hundreds of the same vid, it's crazy
