My favorite time in skateboarding, no one was following fashion fads, they wore the clothes they wanted not the ones they think are obligated to in order to gather a following. tricks were simple, honest and not over done. before corporate ridiculousness set in. looked like a fun time to be a pro skater.

@jgzero23 Couldn't say it any better than myself. I started skating in 2000 and I remember no one giving a fuck about what clothes you wore, the shoes you skated - everything was just about skating and being a skateboarder. It's kinda lame now with fucks like MTV, Red Bull, Nike part taking in the skate world. I wish it could be like this again.

@jgzero23 i got the Five-o's which was pretty much his shoe design but dif name. cheaper too. but didnt last very long. or how about.....the hook ups shoes? anyone remember those? they sucked ass but cuz my fav skater Heath kirchart was in the crew i was all up in the mix. haha

thank you SO much for putting the whole video up. It was one of my very first skate videos a decade ago, I'd watch the VHS back to back all the time, so much that I eventually fucked up the tape. I had been waiting for someone to put it up online for years, literally, but it seems like noone ever really bothered to rip it. is the full version available for download somewhere ? that would make my day
