You are forgetting the debris that struck WTC 7.

That does nothing to debunk the molten metal in the basement of the building. If debris had caused the collapse, the building would have fell toward the debris damaged side or would have begun its collapse on that side of the building. Diesel stored in the building for the generators would not cause the heat needed to turn metal molten....

The damage to 7WTC was mostly on the south side and south east corner (substantiated by an array of observations by fire fighters)

7WTC fell toward the south.

So yes, you are correct, if damage had caused 7WTC collapse it would have fallen toward the damaged side, which is exactly what it did as demonstrated by photographs of 7WTC after the collapse with the North side of the building lying on top of the pile.
