What a great interview! Great to see the Contender guys doing well and great to see Manfredo's dad training Brinkley. One's a Middleweight and the other is a Super Middleweight. I wonder if they would ever get in the ring and what the hell would Manfredo's dad do? The Contender is still the best reality show ever.

really want jesse to get that title shot he deserves before he hangs up his gloves, a real stand up fighter who doesn't complain or bitch he just gets on with it, glad he showed stevens for what he really is (a bum), froch would be good match up for him but i think froch would beat him due to his stamina and reach, i think it'l be bika next though

Brinkley looked fantastic in this fight and just seems to be getting better and better as a fighter. I hope he gets a title shot now.

Brinkley is a good fighter with a great personality. I saw him fight at a casino up in Idaho years ago and he knocked some guy out.

I've always rooted for Brinkley, but that fight vs. Stevens made me truly proud to be a fan of his. Weathered the early storm and than took it to the younger, stronger, more aggressive fighter.

Froch would actually be a MUCH better matchup for Brinkley over Bute. Froch has a big name with very little to back it up....but that big name is about to shrink once Froch gets his ass handed to him by Kessler.
Brinkley has the right idea, go after guys like Froch, Duddy, or Chavez jr.
