@yluj0407 I think that you are so imature. You need to stop talking to yourself and get a life. This is not about Cheap Trick. This is about .............................
@yluj0407 If you don't like it well then maybe you should just fight me. Meet me at the old railroad and lets fight!!! Nobody talks like that to me/you and gets away with it. I'm going to fight you now!!!!!@!#*&$
@Serenojo69 really???? What do you know about Feminism? So glad this talented woman turns you on (because that is all women should do! how dare they do anything else! how dare they not be attractive to you! it is ALL about you) but shut up about it, no one cares about your boner.
@happyhippo03 you are pathetic! she gives me a boner but first she is smart pretty creative and everything else anyone would want. shut the fuck up. he was giving a compliment. fat dyke bitch whore!
@TellYourFolks I think you misunderstood me. I was not talking about looks. I as talking about her charisma: strong, selfconcious and feminine. In most countries emancipation meant that women could now do what man could and along masculin lines on so many occasions. The Condoleeza Rices, MAggie Thatchers are also the managers in many companies. What makes women female AND strong seems underappreciated.
Me and my best friend are always recommending new bands to each other and she just texted me to check out Alex Winston- Sister wife, I did and now I'm here and wow, just wow.
When I first heard Choice Notes (on a car advert) I thought it was very eastern sounding, I thought the voice was almost Japanese in quality. When I see Alex now she has an almost angelic purity to her vocals, they are clean, crystal clear and to top it...she's very much eye candy too....and..lets not foget the fantastic songs also. A remarkable talent.........Kate Bush meets Cocteau twins ! Fantastic Alex....contnued success to you !! yayyyyy !!
My god, i've never been in love so badley in my entire life. Alex please marry me. Now i don't have a lot to offer you. But i would walk the fires of hell just to stand in the same city as you, or to walk into a place you have been and sit in the chair you have just vacated. I would cut off my own lips just to.............hang on. I think i'm coming on a bit strong. Lets just say i love this song and leave it at that. ;0) xxx
Her intelligence is beautiful and so obvious. What a fantastic woman, very original. So feminine. For those feminists who thought empowering women start bybecoming more masculin: think again. Feminine power at its best. Her music, voice and looks makes this man happy.
@Serenoj69 I don't think feminists wants women to become more masculine. I think feminists wants people to be able to embrace whatever they want regardless of their gender. Something considered female should be able to be performed by both men and women. Anyway, completely agree about her talent!
@MrMsLisa Hmmm....the second who misunderstood me. May be I was not very clear. I see many women who think being emancipated means become more masculine, behaving tough etc. In Northern Europe, where I live (NL) women that are managers are really like that if we generalise a bit. I feel emancipation has partly failed: that what makes women women has been lost a bit. But they are still naggin all the time of course and having little feuds over nothing. Unfortunately they didn't lose that... ;-)
@Serenoj69 You say "what makes women women has been lost a bit". So you know what makes a woman woman then? Well I guess a woman of your standards doesn't compare at all to mine. Perhaps better equality has made women more able live as they want instead of being opressed and control by social norms and a gender-power order. To me that's a step forward, not backward!
@MrMsLisa That is also taste of course, so I only can say that for myself. So you may have a different opinion. To give you a clue what I like: look up Nina Hagen unbeschreiblich weiblich on youtube. That is my ideal woman: intelligent, very funny and free. And indeed: unbeschreiblich weiblich (indescribable female) lyrics: "Why should I fullfill my duty as a women? For who? For them? For you? For me???? I have no lust to fullfill my duty, not for you not for me I HAVE NO DUTY!"
i don't think you understand what feminism is. its not at all about transitioning into something masculine. in fact, it has nothing to do with looks, its about an ideology and a perspective concerning women's role in society. if you think its about a hair cut or a whether or not we, like, wear a dress to work then you are probably one of the most naive people I've ever met.
Feminism just means political ,social and economic equality for women.there are plenty of feminine "feminist's" just as there are plenty of femme lesbians.the fact they dress more masculine is just because of there comfort with themselves.they want to not be looked at in society as a "feminine " yet still hold feminists views.I think it is perfectly fine..i get your point, but not completely valid.
@shavulture Women could work, under men and in a male sort of society. Becoming more masculin. Meanwhile, typical female strengths (o-oo) like being a mum, having a baby wasn't appreciated much. It's still echoed by feminists on TV regularly: women are now telling other women what to do with their life: "We women SHOULD do this and that (all careers)." I think, after men dominated them, there is no need for women to now listen to other women. Do what you want and feel good about it.
@shavulture Besides, I wrote this: "For those feminists who thought empowering women start bybecoming more masculin: think again." That does not apply to all feminist women, is it?
@Serenoj69 your right.I get your point.but as much as women are so called being told what to do by other feminist's you also have conservative biblical literalist also telling you to look a certain way and to be tied down house wife that menhave more control .there is no equality.it is just a shame.i guess this is going more in dept than anything.but yes.she is gorgeous.women don't have to dress more masculine and bark orders.there are some high strung feminist's.
@shavulture I'm against anyone tlling others how to live. So I won't tell Christians that they should change. Besides: many women keep some of these thoughts (female below man) alive and kicking. And we are cliche a bit too I feel: not all men are barking orders either. I didn't when I was a manager. I got fired for not doing that...(joke). Music is nicer. Talking about man...ever heard of "man man"? CD "Life fantastic". "Shameless", "Steak knives" and "Dark ants" etc. Great.
