@fretfanaticno1 haha, no, its actually a converted Krank REV1 combo. I took the amp out, had it modded and put in a head box. then, somebody stole it!!!!
Hello, I love the looks and features of this amp. I would like to buy it but I need to know if there's any way to change channels via midi? For example with g-majot or some kind of gsp 1101. BTW amp doesn't have built in midi.
Great style of playing and incredible technique you have. I just bought a Tourmaster combo and I was wondering if you're using any pedals for your tone in this video, and, if so, what are they? Thanks!
@onehotrocker99 Sorry about that!! i deleted your commemnt by accident!! haha, anyway, the LP is stock in this video. 2 Burstbucker Pro pups. and 11-54 strings. that`ll help with tone. I now have a 20 year old X2N in the bridge. its set quite far from the strings so it still retains the guitars tone better rather than just full on power!!!
@leercha I sold my 1978 LP Custom two years ago because the tone just wasn't what I was looking for. It was a 25th Anniversary Silverburst that I bought brand new back in '78 for $600.00. Can you believe it?! I sold it for $2,800.00. Now I play a 2006 LP Studio and I love the tone and playability of it a lot more than the '78 Custom. I imagine with heavier gauge strings you put on your LP you have to tune down for tension purposes? I use 9's for ease in bending and vibrato.
@onehotrocker99 Yeah, a long time ago i had to rent a guitar for some shows in New York. That was a LP custom 78. didnt like it at all!!! The one in the vid is a Standard LE. Kinda in between a standard and a custom. 50`s neck. not a fan of the slimmer necks. I tune to standard with 11-54 but wrap the strings over the stop bar. It actually makes the strings feel like 10`s, although its up for debate. some people think it makes no difference but with 11`s it almost certainly does!!!
hey man fantastic!! how did you paint your head over? especially the logo, and what did you use. Btw playing is phenomenal man, my kinda style. Looking to getting one of these heads, they sound so good. What kinda cab is that you're using?
hey, thanks for the comment!! i just used krylon black primer. seems to have held up ok so far!!! haha. the cab is actually a converted Krank rev combo with 2 Celestion 75`s in it.
great playing man, im seriously considering buying one of these amps....... I have a 1992 1960a cab, removed the re-issue greenbacks and fitted genuine rola 1971 25w green backs..... Now im just looking for the perfect head..... Hard to make a decision... Looking for jcm 800 2203 tone but want a nice clean channel.... hmmmm decisions decisions....
how did u modified your egnater look? black tolex and black Egnater logo? and you said late night jam so how loud can u crank it without messing up the neighbors? Great playing!!
hey, i painted it myself. just took the amp out of the box and painted it. same with the logo. i had it set on half power at 10watts on the 2nd overdrive channel.
Some people have said that the power grid does nothing but i can guarantee that it does!!
Are you using a Valvetronix as a cab ha ha. I do the same.

the only thing i used on this was a very small amount of delay. thats it.
you dont really need any OD pedals on this channel.
Since this video ive changed out the power and preamp tubes and its improved it even more.
They are really good amps!!
