This song is awesome!!! I had been thinking about joining the army for some time... even though i was never sure if I actually should. When I heard this song and especially when I saw this video it became obvious to me that I would be a total idiot if I joined...
I saw him in Germany about 2 weeks ago at a festival and they played this song as the last one of their set. As at the beginning of the video they explained the background, but as soon as they had started playing, we understood every phrase of the song although it was hard for as to understand his slang. The music spoke for itself.

But remember that Norway has supported the US in many of their "conflicts," and you have about as much control over your countries actions as i do over the U.S. actions. Many people in America strongly disagree with the war in Iraq, Bush's approval rating when he left office was around 21%, so don't think that everyone in America loved him.

I enjoy State Radio, and this song, but this video is atrocious. They use the footage and imagery of dead, mangled corpses as propaganda against the US action in Iraq. While i do not necesarily agree with the conflict, this sort of video is no better than any military poster showing atrocities towards the US and urging people to join and fight. If they really wanted to reach people at a level to make them think, they should have hit higher, and not sunk to the same brutish, vicious level.
The main idea is that war is atrocious, not the US, but the fact is, the US made this a war. I support America and all of its armed forces. I do not support war. 3,000 deaths aren't worth 655,000 more.

WAR= should only occur when trying to keep peace, but that isnt how the world is today.. we have soldiers dieing all the time...which is sad, but the saddest part is we have people that dnt not supporting regardless of your opinions is the worst tragedy of them all.....

I enjoy State Radio, and this song, but this video is atrocious. They use the footage and imagery of dead, mangled corpses as propaganda against the US action in Iraq. While i do not necesarily agree with the conflict, this sort of video is no better than any military poster showing atrocities towards the US and urging people to join and fight. If they really wanted to reach people at a level to make them think, they should have hit higher, and not sunk to the same brutish, vicious level.

the housing crisis and the economy is his fault because he and all of his other advisors were so focused on a war, the homefront become secondary. this is the first war in american history to have a decrease in taxes. you cannot go into a war of any sort with out raising taxes. and because he didint raise taxes some portion of this country was shorted and that was the infastructure and the economy, which includes the housing crisis.

Looks like he's just playing tapped harmonics. You just hit the fret an octave (12 frets) above whatever notes you're actually fretting. (I don't exactly know how that part of the song goes, just the chord progression behind the verse and chorus.)

If he was chicken shit like you basically say he is, why did he serve that long? Witnessing your own people torture innocent people can effect you more than you know. And he didn't have these people write a song to enhance his name. These people are 100% humanitarians who only work to help others. Maybe if you read a little background on people who care about others and backed off the video games where all they do is kill, you'd have a better grasp of what is really out there.
