Who did she send him to? Who was supposed to pick him up on the other end? I don't think there is any law against sending kids unescorted if there is an arrangement for them to be picked up. People send kids on the plane all the time and I think the airlines have rules about what age is too young to ride unescorted. As to calling the adoption off, I think there are legal ways to do it but I don't know what they are. I am sure no country wants someone forced to keep a kid they no longer want.
@pvtjamesryan3 So you're going to condemn the entire state? I am looking onto possible threats by Russian mafia towards the family, or some unique circumstances, rather than judging 6 million people by this one event.
But then again Gore is from Tenn, so maybe you're right.
I do not condemn unless it's warranted. This child needed help and these people refused to help him. If I had the money and the proper home, I would adopt this kid and help him, but it's not up to me. These people had a chance to teach this kid ethics and to help him become a man. They instead treated him like the family dog and abandoned him when he needed help.

Tennessee is a worthless state. You adopt a child to help the child, not to help yourself.

You know I'm right.
