  • You're right about there being more notes than one person can handle but this is not a duet. "Back in the day" pianola musicians did something called doubling which means they record a song on a roll typewriter and then later insert notes on the roll to add a fuller sound. This was a popular method.

  • By the way, this is being played by one person, isn't it? I wasn't sure if it was possible to learn, because some parts look a little wide spread. Or is it just in a sort of stride style?

  • @CooCurrent I'm not sure, but I think there's two players in this version. Listen how it sounds and the huge intervals on the keys, it's not possible to do it only with only two hands!
