many people get this wrong. people got there hands on the film, made it 100 generations down, put onto bootleg videos (and on you tube)erriously saying it is the official video for CAREFUL WITH THAT AXE EUGENE. it is not. many different quaklities avaliable. but i have both the DVD and VHS versions of the movie, and they are both different. Also the 2 actors were on Dick Cavett, 2:04 THE GUY IS DEAD and the interview with dick is on here also with mel brooks.

my fave rendition of Careful with that axe. I have a movie-song compilation cd that i bought prob 20 yrs ago for this and crumbling land. its got a great dark star excerpt from zabriskie point too

@oddtunes i've got that same cd. was a gem when i heard this version of careful with that ax. that dark star is great too. down by the river a nice add on it too "Rock goes to the movies" sadly, its was one of many my kids scratched all to hell. the attrition rate for my old cds is often too much for me to think about without getting pissed.

This version is closer to the way the band performed it live I'd say, more layed effects at the start and then fuzzer less "twanky" guitar after the scream plus some organ aswell.
