Wow, I've heard a lot of guitar players doing their thing on YouTube, but you're the first that's turned my head.... You play with taste & soul, obviously very comfortable with the instrument. I can hear the Pete Green influence... but you've got own melodic thing happening too. Refreshing after hearing so many players wanking without feeling on Youtube.... No, it's not...but I ididn't mix and record it quite as well as I could have. I think it does sound better than the camera mic, but I still am compressing the file from Pro Tools as I import the file into iMovie.. Thanks.

:45-:53 is where it's at - gutsy, throaty neck tone. The guitar feels just a little recessed between the bass in the backing and the reverb once you go to two pickups. Which, by the way, sound very squawky and "twingy". And throughout, your emotional playing really conveys the mood you were going for here. Nice work Dan!

Thanks! I should've made it a little more funky and flowing like that more throughout the piece, but I wanted to only do a couple takes tops...and that was my second....I should probably preplan some licks in there? Maybe just a little motif and then impro around that? Anyway...thanks very much!
