This was my first game at the Lane. My brother had got us tickets in the United end and we had to cheer every bloody United goal so as not to get the crap kicked out of us. The High Road afterwards made the recent riots look like a Sunday school picnic, I'd never seen so much blood.
I remember going to this match and a lot of trouble on the shelf where a lot of man u fans had invaded...pics were on the back page of NOTW of fighting but i remeber this as great match even though we lost !

The OT match the season before was a cracker, too
